“In nice cosmetic shape. Functions mostly good. However, the 16′ footage on the strings and the poly synth is not working. The slider on the string section just adds more volume of 8′, and the footage control on the poly synth doesnt do anything. Sometimes when powering up the string section doesnt work, and it needs to be shut off again. Also smells kinda weird, haha. “For Sale/Auction is the Sequential Circuits Six Trak, 6 voice analog poly synth. This particular unit is in good shape for an instrument of it’s age. There are small signs of wear and tear, some scratches in the wood end cheeks, and a few dings on the metal exterior. The main volume pot does have a slight scratch to it, although I’m trying to clean that up before it ships. Also, the previous owner did a repair to the main tune knob, it’s either glued in place in a neutral tuning, or hard to move. This does not affect the synth whatsoever, merely mentioning it for the sake of honesty. Aside from these issues, the synth is working 100% normally, to the best of my knowledge. “The original Pro-One monophonic synthesizer from 1981. Please refer to online reviews of this legendary instrument for detailed technical specifications. Suffice to say this is a classic analogue synth with extensive modulation capabilities, powerful filter with the SCI unique resonance, two oscillators, sequencer and arpeggiator. There is only one Pro-One in terms of build and sound quality; naming no names, recent clones are decent enough machines but simply that: machines rather than instruments. It was mostly triggered by a MIDI converter box rather than played direct during its working life, so the keyboard is responsive and without the triggering problems which some examples exhibit. “ARP PRO-DGX Monophonic Analog Lead Synthesizer in excellent condition.
Unit is in working order. Was recently serviced – had the bus bar cleaned and a general check-over by Robert Rosen of Rosen Sound in Burbank, CA. All of the functions work, including the AT controller under the keyboard.
The Pro Soloist was famously used by Tony Banks of Genesis. With a very unique architecture, this synth is difficult to recreate on other mono synths. If you’re going for that vintage Tony Banks sound, this is it. I used this unit 4 or 5 times on stage and it always delivered. Sad to see it go, but the time has come. “ARP Axxe Synthesiser, possibly mid 70’s. Not Working.. Condition is For parts or not working. I’ve been asked to sell this by a very good friend. It belonged to her son who sadly died many years ago and this has been languishing in her garage since then. It was only used at home by him but as it was purchased second hand I’ve no information about its prior life. As can be seen in the photos it comes with an extremely robust flight case so I assume it was originally bought by a gigging musician from the “London Synthesiser Centre”. My friends memory isn’t clear as to when he bought it but she thinks it was in the early 80’s. I borrowed a monitor amp from a friend and plugged it in, unfortunately it was unresponsive to any attempt to get any coherent response from pressing the keys or adjusting the various controls and sliders. It did make a “Synthesiser” noise which made half hearted responses to some of the controls but most definitely needs someone with the the relevant expertise to get it operational again. I suppose that in the worst case scenario it could be used as a parts donor to get other similar types up and running but that would be a shame as cosmetically it’s not in bad condition, the only real problem is the fact that virtually all of the small knobs which fitted on the sliders have decayed and gone missing. In one of the photos you can see the only two remaining intact ones. In one of the photos I’ve shown the sticker giving its model and serial number if anyone knows where to look for its date of manufacture. The flight case is very shabby as can be seen in the photos but it’s actually structurally sound and the interior is still giving excellent protection for the instrument. I think the carcase could be made to look respectable again but the hinges, catches and corner protectors are badly afflicted by surface rust although they all function well and I guess could be restored to almost as new. It comes with its original power lead. I’ve tried to get some info. on line about this instrument and believe that in working order it could well be worth many hundreds of pounds whilst the flight case alone would be worth a fair amount. It has never been gigged and has just been used in my studio.
It has developed a problem which is quite an easy fix if you know what your doing or want to get it serviced.
The synth was working perfectly a few days ago and the next day i turned it on and all the sounds had vanished.There are still sounds but not what i would call useable.

“For sale here is my Macbeth M5 all analogue semi-modular synth. A Rare + Modern Classic in Superb condition. After the main picture head on of the synth as a whole including upper & lower half in pics 2+3, the next 8 show each ‘section’ of the M5 in close up & the last with it under it’s dust cover. Note that the face plate is in superb condition as pictured.
I am the Original Owner from new on production in 2006, as serial number on the rear will show to the buyer.
It has had only bedroom studio (non-smoking) use in that time and was kept under wraps (dust sheet) when not in use.
This is the Original M5 with the black & orange colour scheme, as used for the later version ARP 2600.
Note that whilst it ‘looks’ like a later model Rev.3 ARP2600, the M5’s ‘sound’ is both Moog and Oberheim ‘inspired’.
The original ARP 2600 (Blue Meanie model) that many/most claim sounds best of the 2600’s, stole the Moog filter design of course, hence epoxy sealed units, lawsuit, 4072 ARP filter redesign, etc… Plus, the M5 actually dwarfs the 2600 in overall height + size. This M5 is one of around 90 (I think) of the original versions that were hand made between 2005/6, so only 13-14 years old compared with 35+ for a 2600.
As such it offers far more likely long term reliability and with great build quality courtesy of Ken McBeth. No tiny slider tops or mini jack sockets to fiddle with… On a practical note you can get multiple (man sized) finger tips between the slider tops for patching/mixing/modulation purposes. A joy to play with as you can easily see all patch points, sources, destinations, signal flow, etc.
As regards stability & tuning, many older analogue synths had & still do have problems with these factors. This M5 tunes very accurately and holds tune throughout every session, nor is this dependent on whether it’s hot or not – inside or out, as was the downside of many old analogue synths, though it’s appreciated some do like such instability… I prefer to start off with known stability & increase detuning/instability if/when needed. There is even a stability pot on Osc#3 for ‘dialing in’ that effect when required, except it’s under your control and not at the mercy of other elements…” Click here to search for synths on eBay

” This is one of the coolest pieces of gear my dad ( original owner ) had! This is a super rare Electrocomp EML-500, only 300 were ever made ( compared to the EML-1* series where 1000 were made ) and rumor has it there’s far less still in existence. I don’t know how to gauge “perfect working condition” in these old synths, but I do know it powers on and I saw it played within the past few years.
It could use a little cleanup but is overall in nice condition with one major flaw. One of the slider top pegs has broken off ( shown in photos ) The tops are a little plastic cap that goes over a plastic peg, and the peg snapped off some time ago. This could be a really easy repair for someone who is handy with epoxy, as the two pieces fit clean together and the small plastic peg could be removed from the cap and glued back to the other piece. Beyond that, some of the markings have started to wear, there’s a little rub of the steel finish in a spot or two, and the wood has some marks on the back ( also shown ).
