I have used this very lightly over the years since the early 90s with it being kept in the case except when using it to record in my home.
This keyboard is in incredibly good shape with little wear. All of the buttons and wheels function perfectly. It is a great combination of analog sound with digital control. The synth is monophonic so great for bass lines and leads.
This synth has the updated tape restore/backup and trigger/sync options.
I recently had this synth serviced: A new lithium battery and 2 new VRAM chips were installed, the notorious 5V regulator chip serviced, reloading of the original patch library, and minor maintenance repair.
There are some areas of minor cosmetic issue: The wood side panels have a little scuffing and some of the edges of the stainless steel chassis have some marking. The hard case was lined with faux animal fur over the original foam which has since started to degrade due to the age of the foam. The foam may need to be replaced down the road. The cassette tape I haven’t ever loaded on to the synth so I am not sure what the sound library sounds like or if it functions but since it is original to the unit I wanted to include it in the sale.” Click here to search for synths on eBay
