This Moog is only second to a Model D in terms of vintage raw tone and it is easily one of the best mono synths out there. Famous for it’s use as the baseline in Blue Monday and many other songs.
I actually have more money invested in this than I’m asking. Were you to get a good condition Source, get the midi kit, have it installed, and have the whole synth totally restored you’d be surprised how quickly that all adds up. I thought I’d have this synth forever and treated it that way. Just stayed in my personal rig at home for years now.
This is a great sounding synth, all the vintage vibe you want, and everything you know Moog for, but also with midi and expanded patch storage. You can edit and save patches in Midiquest since this has midi. This beats the sound of newer synths by a mile, easily integrates into a modern setup, and is just plain fun and inspiring to use.”
