It is extremely clean, there’s no dust or grime anywhere.
All keys work, there are no thumps, bumps or crackles.
All presets work as they should and all sliders and controls are fine. VCF, Contour, and Resonators all excellent.
It plays well and the velocity sensitive weighted keys are all OK.
Due to careful use, regular cleaning and routine servicing, it actually transports very well and I’ve never had any problems with moving it around.
To make it a more resilient instrument, it had been stripped, checked and rebuilt to be reliable, all Polycom motherboard sockets checked for the usual dry-joints, Polycom cards and sockets cleaned, keys and contacts cleaned, and the power supply checked, aligned and tested.
All this along with regular servicing and cleaning.
The bad bits: The case has some scratches and marks from 45 years of life. No more bad bits.
