“Up for sale is the 1977 version 5 Moog Model D. One of the “Grand Daddies” of synthesizers, the Model D is responsible for some of the most iconic analog synth bass, lead and whistle sounds. The Model D quickly became one of the most popular synthesizers to hit the market and sounds can still be heard on many mega-hit recordings today. The Model D also offers something magical when external instruments run through its filter circuitry as well.
The Model D we have for sale shows minor cosmetic wear such as very light fraying at the base of the power cord and a small crack in the pitch wheel (pictured). This synthesizer has been professionally used and maintained. Recently, the synth was tuned and calibrated by Davidsons Electronics who gave the Minimoog a clean bill of health (detail of bill and services shown in pictures). It is in good shape for years and years to come for the next owner.
