This instrument is as close to NOS as you will be able to find. It comes with the original Box, Original Warranty sheet, Inspection card and Original store advertising sheet.
Mechanically the synth was just fully electronically restored. The work included:
– replace regulator IC
– replace TIP transistors (2)
– replace bridge diodes
– replace tantalum capacitors
– replace axial electrolytic caps
– re-solder Molex header
– new thermal paste on regulators
– repair “doubling” circuit
– replace all elecrolytic caps
– replace all “black bullet” tantalum caps
– remove and polish bus car
– replace keyboard bushings
– clean and align all Jwires
– clean all keytops
– clean and align keyframe 2
– resolder all molex headers
– relube all pots
– clean switches
– clean front panel
– clean knobs
– cal supply
– touch up cal VCO
– test CV/Gate and audio input – ok
– test all functions – ok
