1130, Moog @ 04 February 2013

” Moog 1130 Drum Controller from the 1970’s. An analog drum pad controller marketed as an accessory for Moog synthesizers, including the Mini Moog and Sonic Six, as well as Moog modular systems. Also known as Moog Percussion Controller and Moog Drum. According to the original ad, the 1130 “actuates unique musical tones with drumsticks”. The unit is basically an 8-inch-diameter tom drum with an acoustic transducer converting the beating into control voltages. Knobs for scale and velocity sensitivity are also included. There are two CV outputs for controlling volume and pitch on the connected synth (harder hit = higher tone). In addition, an S-trigger jack is available. The device is powered by a six-pin connector plugged into the controlled instrument. The stickers from the sides and bottom of the drum are missing. The original mount has been changed (see photo). There is tape residue on the side of the drum (see photo). Unit has pitted chrome scuffs etc from use (see photo). This has been used with a Sonic 6 and works flawlessly. ” Click here to visit listing on eBay
