“You are bidding on a Korg Poly-800. This is a classic analog synth from the 80’s. I am the original owner. I bought it brand new back in 1985, and it has always been kept in a dry, smoke-free environment. All the keys still have their original spring action and work perfectly. The joystick and all the buttons work perfectly as well, and the display is nice and bright with no faulty segments.
Cosmetically, the synth is in great shape for its age. There are some minor scuffs and scrapes, the worst of them being along the rear of the unit. The only other cosmetic blemish of note would be the bezel surrounding the joystick. At one point, the adhesive lifted and the bezel got snagged causing it to crack (see photos). I have taped it back down with some double sided tape, but it is starting to lift back up. It should probably be glued down, but I’ll leave that to the new owner.
I am including the original Korg power adapter and the original casette tape with all the default sound files.”
