” Long story short, a relative moved away suddenly several years ago and left behind tons of their stuff for us to deal with. Been gradually sorting through it all and trying to sell anything that seems worth it.

Can only confirm that this synth turns on when plugged in and seems to respond to various buttons being pressed.

Key point to mention: power button seems to have broken off. The synth comes straight on upon being plugged in, but can’t seem to turn it off unless you unplug it again. Probably repairable by someone with the know-how.

Can’t see any other major damage. Some slight marks, scuffs, etc. Was a bit grubby but have given it a good wipe over.

“Offered here is a functional classic SY85 workstation complete with manuals, factory voice/setup disks and memory card, ideal for the musician who wants the Retro sound that these great keyboards produced.

There are some signs of use but other than that the instrument is in very good cosmetic/mechanical as well as electronic condition having only ever been used domestically and never gigged, however not all facilities have been checked as I am unfamiliar with this workstation.
