“Tested and in great working condition. The keyboard has minimal signs of usage except two very small cracks/dents that are pictured (9th and 11th) in this listing. They are very minimal and are barely noticeable, except when looking closely. Otherwise, In really great shape. Comes with two sustain pedals. One is a Yamaha FC5 and the other is a Generic Yamaha Sustain pedal (Not sure of exact model). Please use all pictures for details and for condition. ”

“This Yamaha DX7 was quoted by Randy Waldman as the first one brought into the states from Japan way back when! This is his unit! It does have a low serial number! (13212) This DX7 was modded with a knob to switch to four banks! Also includes a Data Cartridge filled with more sounds! Pick new bank press a preset and you are playing a new sound!

All sounds play great and the sound cartridge has custom sounds. Only functional issue is two keys are down, but return springs are not missing. These two are not staying latched.”

“The only things that I tested was ALL the 32 green buttons(which are the different sounds that this keyboard
has) that you see on picture #8, the Modulation wheel and the Pitch wheel. I didn’t test the rest because I don’t
know how to test the rest.

The only green button that doesn’t work is #32, and button #9 #10 & #11 do work but they get stuck
once in a while.

This synthesizer turns ON and OFF (no issues with that) and it displays the sounds as you can see on
photo #4.

Modulation wheel WORKS, but the pitch wheel DOES NOT work. ALL 61 keys work very well as they
should. Also.,there is something loose in the inside(don’t know what it is).

This DX7 plays and sounds SUPER, SUPER. SUPER FANTASTIC just the way it is, but it definitely needs
to be seen by a technician(by someone that knows what he/she is doing) to fix what I just told you that need

” Above pls see my Beloved orginal Yamaha DX7 Synthesizer circa 1983, It formed part of my studio set-up for many years, never had any problems with it! the flight case is included in the sale, I have decided to part with this and a lot of other items (pls see other listings) after some nagging by the better half……Difficult one but I guess I’m unlikely to use it again…..it is in good condition and the switch membrane is perfect! sorry about the stickers!! a little white spirit will soon take the residue off! a nice rare original example well looked after! collection only this baby is around 14KG plus the flight case! they don’t make em like this anymore…..”
