” This Prophet 5 has been in my possession since the day it was purchased in 1979-1980 it is in perfect working condition it has been refurbished from top to bottom once in 2008 and just recently reviewed by Wine Country Sequential in 2017. All original no MIDI. 40 patches. Due to the age of this item. I suggest you come and play and inspect the item before bidding. This has been packaged by Wine Country Sequential and I have not removed it from it’s packaging. It has been professinally packaged for shippment. There are no refunds. This keyboard works great. It is in tune. It is cosmetically the best one you will find. I have taken great care of this keyboard for almost 40 years. IT has been refurbished by Wes Taggert one of the legends. “Sequential Circuits Prophet­5 Rev. 3 (MIDI) 5 voice synthesizer AND Sequential Circuits Prophet Remote keyboard for sale. Includes interface cable and pedal, Interface cable needs to have a minor repair done (the 1/4″ control plug needs to be reattached.) Anvil hard case (for P­5) and generic hard case (for P­R). (Anvil case has 3 letter brand.) The P­5 is NOT fully functional. Suspect 1 or more faulty capacitors. This unit IS repairable. The Prophet Remote IS functional. These boards were meticulously cared for by one owner who, instead of keeping these two babies, has to sell them to pay for his divorce attorney. Will not split up. “Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Version 3.3 synthesizer in good condition. I am the original owner of this magnificent keyboard. Only used in the studio on countless recordings. Unfortunately this keyboard has been in storage and is due for some maintenance. The keyboard works, all potentionmeters work, all LED works, Pitch and Mod wheels work. Some of the J wires need to be replaced so some keys do not trigger a sound. Also the rubber key stops need to be replaced on the entire keyboard. Not necessary if your’e using MIDI but if your playing it you will get tired of all the key clacking. All of these parts are available at WineCountrySequential or you could have them refurbish the keyboard. The wood casing is in good condition except for a dent on the front rail by the name plate, see photo #5. The Star case is in good condition but needs to be refoamed.

Please keep in mind that this is a vintage keyboard and will require some minor repair before you start using it on a gig. This will be a fine addition to any keyboardist collection.
