“Very recently serviced (30 days ago by SD Machines in Miami) Sequential Pro-One with case and owner’s manual. Everything works. In very good condition. It has a new transformer, new power switch, all keyboard contacts have been cleaned, new bushings, all keys aligned and calibrated. There is a chip in the paint next to the LFO amount knob (see picture). “Up for sale is a highly modded and amazingly cool Sequential Circuits Pro One.

This synth is modded. Keyboard is an entirely rebuilt J wire keyed… not the horrible membrane version. The serial of this synth lands in the membrane keybed version but a J wire keyed was overhauled and installed. It plays and tracks extremely well. No double triggers or mis-triggers. It also has an aftertouch strip put in. The key dip is just a tiny little bit less, and there is a pic showing that. The keys goes down a little more when you activate the aftertouch. Very light and quick action. The aftertouch controls many things. Pitch up and down, modulation, LFO, Filter, etc…Very flexible variations. Also there are two pots inside the synth for gain functions for the aftertouch if needed. There is an additional LFO pot added , and there is duel portamento pots for the two VCO’s . Very effective on glides rather than the stock single portamento . Also a momentary jack in the back for on/ off portamento. Again a very effective performance feature. Tested , and everything works as should. In tune and calibrated. Ground loop issue corrected, which was common for these keyboards. Condition is good. There are a few marks on plastic and some marks on the keys. But its all minor… jut=st stating for full discloure on this ad. The only thing to note is that the Master Tune pot shaft has the tip broken off. You can still easily use / adjust it. With all the mods completed, this takes the Pro One to a whole new level. Ive created some very wicked efx, basses, leads that simply cant be done on a regular pro one. GREAT synth, great condition, great price. ”

It’s the same keybed that is installed on most modern Moog synthesizers.

The connections are identical to the Moog Little Phatty keybed.

“Here we have for sale a Sequential Circuits Pro One monophonic analog synthesizer. It has been fully dissasembled, the key contacts, busbar, switches and controls have been cleaned. The power supply has been recapped with nichicon high temp capacitors, and some mismatched hardware has been replaced. It is dated 1981 low serial number with true key contacts. All ins and outs have been tested and are deemed to be working. There are blemishes on some keys and the wood sides, but overall considering the age, it is in very good shape. It will be double boxed and packed securely.”

“Nice condition not mint but very good. J wire low serial with chassis mounted psu. I’ve owned it for several years and it’s been regularly serviced I had the power cord removed and a kettle lead put in its place much safer and easier to move around. I also had the keyboard bushings replaced about two years ago as the keyboard was shocking plays nicely now. The pro one badge came off in the studio and is unfortunately now lost but they are readily available on Facebook if you feel you need it. I’ve recorded with it gigged with it and it’s never once let me down. It can be a bit picky with power as in it likes an nice clean supply, if you have a pc or laptop running on the same circuit the analog oscillators will create hum, this is a common thing with a lot of vintage synths it also likes a good 10 or 15 mins to warm up. This is the more desirable J-wirekeybed model (as opposed to the less reliable membrane keybed on serial numbers8500 and above), also with the power supply mounted to the chassis (as opposed to thepower supply mounted to the circuit board leading to breaks on serial numbers1500 and below).

“Up for sale the iconic and fat sounding Sequential circuits pro one mono synth. In ok cosmetic condition and fully functional. All the buttons, switches and keys works as they should. Some pots are a little scratchy such as the noise pot. This synth sounds big and it really cuts trhough the mix. I really enjoyed the sequencer and the modulation features as well as the cv and gate interaction via external sequencers. ” I am the original owner of this Pro-One. I have had it serviced at Pro-Audio Electronics of Tampa, FL in 2017 and it comes with a transferable, 90 day parts and labor warranty. Service included some replaced electronic parts, replaced keyboard pads, thorough cleaning and re-calibration. HISTORY: I bought it new in 1981. I used it on the road and in the studio. During that time the original pitch wheels that were made of plastic had cracked. I had replacement wheels made out of aluminum as seen in the photos. Nearly all of the case screws have been replaced because the originals rusted. I also removed the walnut end panels during its years on the road because I did not want to see them get scratched or damaged. The Serial Number is #0422. The keys are smooth & even and have brand new Rubber. The circuit has been gone through with a fine tooth comb everything cleaned & deoxidized.No scratchy pots or switches. The panels have been gently oiled with Lem-oil and returned to their beautiful original glory.
