Sequential Circuits Poly Sequencer

“Sequential Circuits Polyphonic Sequencer Model 1005 in very good cosmetic condition but not completely functional. When I owned a Prophet 5 the sequencer did function normally when recording and playing back sequences from it’s internal memory. Braemar tape drive appeared to be defective back then so drive may need repaired or replaced to save, playback and store to and from tape. I no longer own the Prophet 5 so I can’t troubleshoot or test sequencer any further.

A new old stock Braemar tape drive is included with a final test “Pass” printout but it’s present working condition is unknown.

Also includes 2 Braemar tape cassettes and original manual.”

Sequential Circuits MAX

“Up for auction is a vintage Sequential Circuits MAX Synthesizer keyboard. This unit is working and seems to have most all functions in place and operative. I’m guessing the unit has 6-note polyphony, and it sports a rudimentary onboard sequencer – ‘Start’ button is missing, and I didn’t bother to try and test the sequencer function as I doubt it would stack up against, well, anything made after 1982. You get basically 7 banks of 10 sounds, and apparently the only way to ‘deep edit’ the sounds is via computer. (Note that by progressing further into editor mode you will be officially flirting with full-blown geekification.) I can’t even dare to guess what hoops you’d have to jump through to get a modern computer to communicate with MAX, clearly a throwback to the heady infancy of financially accessible analog synthdom. Perhaps there are generic editor programs out there…? That said, there are a handful of onboard presets that are recognizable, and I daresay that in bank 4 (40-49) there is at least one startling TB-303 soundalike. MAX appears to be responding to MIDI in Omni mode, though Poly mode is selectable. External Pitch and Mod wheels are recognized, but suspiciously, Volume is not. ‘Tune’ button is missing, but the unit sounds like it powers up at concert pitch. Back panel power jack is looking for 8 Volts AC / 800ma – I am including a 10V adapter that seems to work fine, but I would suggest being on the lookout for a proper 8V / 800ma adapter. Cosmetically, the unit is in pretty good shape, looking good for its age. I cannot test every single function on this synth, and I have tried to describe it as accurately as possible – I am selling it As-Is and As-Described.”

“For sale is a ultra rare, Sequential Studio 440 drum machine/sampler/sequencer. Led screen works! Rare find here. It shows signs of wear, Multiple pictures are there to show unit condition. Data entry fader knob is missing, the data entry fader works, I use a toothpick, a fader knob is .99c on the bay. Also the floppy eject button is missing, also a toothpick works, I’m sure you can be more creative than me. Knobs will be removed for shipping. They slide on and off. Firmware is 2.10 feb 1988. Unit is very clean on the inside as pictured. I will package and ship this unit knowing a rare gem is inside.”

Sequential Circuits Drumtraks

“Sequential Circuits Drumtraks. Classic vintage drum machine. In perfect working condition.

Kept in a smoke and pet free studio since I got it second-hand (around 5 years ago)

It is modified with the extra bonus of 4 x 1/4 inch inputs for external drum trigger pads for live performance. Trigger pads can be bought from Roland et al.

There is one plastic button/top missing – for the ‘Slower’ tempo button. I have not had a chance to replace it. But I am sure you can buy a replacement online and put it back on yourself. You can still trigger the button without it though.

Everything else technically is in perfect condition and cosmetically looks great for its age.”

Sequential Circuits Six-Trak Project Machine

“This is a Sequential Circuits Six-Trak. Powers up, all lights come on but don’t go out. No sound, no response to buttons or keys. Power switch is broken and looks like it has been connected straight through, so it powers up as soon as it is plugged in. All parts appear to be present. Sold as is for parts or repair only. 117 VAC, model 610.”

Sequential Circuits Prophet 5

“Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Version 3.3 synthesizer in good condition. I am the original owner of this magnificent keyboard. Only used in the studio on countless recordings. Unfortunately this keyboard has been in storage and is due for some maintenance. The keyboard works, all potentionmeters work, all LED works, Pitch and Mod wheels work. Some of the J wires need to be replaced so some keys do not trigger a sound. Also the rubber key stops need to be replaced on the entire keyboard. Not necessary if your’e using MIDI but if your playing it you will get tired of all the key clacking. All of these parts are available at WineCountrySequential or you could have them refurbish the keyboard. The wood casing is in good condition except for a dent on the front rail by the name plate, see photo #5. The Star case is in good condition but needs to be refoamed.

Please keep in mind that this is a vintage keyboard and will require some minor repair before you start using it on a gig. This will be a fine addition to any keyboardist collection.

Included in the sale:
1) Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 keyboard
1) Power cord
1) Sequential Circuits manual”

Sequential Circuits Six-Trak

” The Sequential Circuits Six-Trak Polyphonic Synthesizer may be labelled as a “beginner model” by the company, but the features and functionality make it a prime choice for any synth enthusiast. Built with 48 velocity-sensitive keys and the same Curtis circuitry found in the company’s more expensive models, the Six-Trak boasts six voice polyphony and six VCOs for solid lead, bass, and pad modeling. Throw in an expansive onboard sequencer and single knob for one parameter control to achieve a world of sound right out of the gate.

I’ve owned this synthesizer for 2 years and have had nothing but joy from it. The only reason I’m selling is so I can afford to buy… another synthesizer, of course. Comes with 99 great patches. You can edit those to make most sounds you might want. The sequencer is very simple but intuitive and includes some fun features such as multitimbrality (multiple patches at once) and volume for each voice. It’s also one of the few synths from this period that has full midi functionality, so you can plug it right to the computer or a sequencer. Overall this thing is in great condition. The wood panels are slightly scuffed on the corners but no actual damage. All buttons and keys work. You don’t wanna miss out on this 1984 polysynth! Does NOT include stand. ” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Sequential Circuits Pro-8

“It was released models in the mid-1980s.
While production of this age is also equipped with a MIDI. Patch memory 64 sound, 8 voice specification.
Polyphonic synth with a look reminiscent of the Prophet.
Although the sound makes feel a little cheap of, there is a unique charm.
Because the model not seen quite as well in the used market, who became worried as soon as possible! !

Sequential Circuits Six-Trak

” 1984 Sequential Circuits Six-Trak in great condition, serial #245. I bought it from a sixth form college last year as the department that owned it was shutting down. I’ve since replaced the memory battery and reloaded the factory presets. The synth is now fully functional with all 6 voices, filter, LFO, amp, sequencer, stack, arpeggiator, wheels* etc working perfectly, and makes some really great sounds in poly, unison and stack modes. It works with a foot controller though I’m not including one.

The ‘1’ key needs some pressure before it registers, the top left corner is slightly chipped (pictured) and there are light patches on the sides where stickers used to be (also pictured).” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Sequential Circuits Prophet 600

“Classic analog synth with amazing fat leads, lush brass, atmospheric pads and filter sweeps from early-mid 1980s, with MIDI, comes with hard case.

The high A key was repaired professionally and is fully functional, just shows some slight discoloration. See pics for wear/scratches on wood and rest of body.

Membrane keypad and LED display are new (exact replacement part), and were professionally installed.

I played this keyboard for years in a gigging/recording band and loved the amazing analog sounds you could coax out of this thing. It has a unique and undeniable character. Has real heart as an instrument and I hate to see it go.

Hard Case is made of thick plywood covered in felt with metal corners and hardware. Inside is foam. Very heavy-duty build and is valued at ~$125 on its own–included with your purchase at no extra charge.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000

“I recently acquired this from the original owner. I was able to load disks and the samples seem to work fine. All keys seem to be working as well. I was able to use the Arpegiator and Filters. Since I’m not an expert in the keyboard I’m not sure if it’s exactly 100% functional. Sold As-Is. Some of the included disks didn’t load but a lot of them did.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Sequential Circuits Pro-8

“It is a compact polyphonic synthesizer with looks reminiscent of Prophet. It was launched in the mid 1980’s, with MIDI installed while manufacturing in this age, patch memory 64 sounds, 8 voice specifications. With a flat design with almost no knobs etc. after DX 7, there is a white board in the center of the body, you can write notes such as patches. It is now difficult to edit sounds, but the sound is an analog sound like SCI.
Maintained by a specialist. The operation is good.

[Rank: B +: There are scratches, no problem in use]
[Case: Hard case (color tanning, with pain)]” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Sequential Circuits Pro One

“I am reluctantly selling my Pro One. Between a friend and I we have had this classic for over 30 years.
Serial No 100- 4403
It has been in storage for several years and after plugging in to test, it has developed a couple of faults,

I want to be honest so I will list what the obvious defects as well as the good points to give everyone a good basis for decision

Cosmetically it is still In great condition for a big old monosynth from 1981
It will power up . the on/off switch on the back is stuck in “on”
The synth will work in drone mode , the keyboard does not appear to work.
The knobs and pots all seem to work ok, a few are a bit noisy , in drone mode you can hear the filters change, LFO etc
Both the pitch bend and modulation wheels work ok.
The keyboard has a few slightly wonky keys, but the last time it worked, all the keys worked fine.
There are scratch marks to the bottom of the casing from being on stands etc over time
The front panel is in very good condition with very few visible blemishes
The wooden end cases are also in good condition.
I have replaced the fuse holder and replaced the fuse, and I have downloaded a manual with the original 20 preset patches

I have taken the Pro One to a private keyboard repair centre, the guy seems to think it’s a voltage problem, but 35 year old mono synths were not his strongest point, but he said it would definitely be salvageable with the right knoweldge. ” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Sequential Circuits Pro One

“In good used condition Includes flight case an manual (well used)
Keyboard is fully working however a couple of knobs are a bit noisy when being turned and synth could do with a service as this has never been done. For this reason I have started the auction with a lower price because the item could do with a service.
Synth was bought not long after they came out and is in very good condition with no scratches to casing.
Has been stored in flight case for past 10 years. “ Click here to search for synths on eBay
