“ROLAND TR-505 Rhythm Composer AS IS Needs repair.
The machine is working except the snare drum is not right.
It generates a high pitch sound that bleeds thru the mix.
I had a tech at a local shop look at it , he changed a few parts but paying buying the hour was getting to cost me to much.
All the other drum samples sound perfect.
The LCD screen is in great condition as is also the drum machine.
You could add individual outputs to isolate each sound separately avoiding this ugly snare drum.
Comes with the 2 manuals and 6 new batteries. It also works with a power supply but thats not included.

“This is a Roland TR-505 drum machine. It’s old, it’s used, it doesn’t work when I plug it in.

It worked when I packed it away ten years ago, so who knows—maybe it’s just corrosion on the AC adapter socket. That’s for you to figure out, though, not me.

“I purchased these at an estate sale and neither will power up.

The TR-707 is in very good cosmetic condition – maybe some dust. The graphics in the window are blurred and the battery cover is missing.

The TR-505 is in poor cosmetic condition. Some of the buttons on the bottom row and area below is dented and chipped. You can see the area in the last picture. I found this beauty recently when I was going through some old equipment in storage. I have personally cleaned this unit in an out with contact cleaner and have tested afterwords to ensure that everything functions properly. This unit works and sounds like new.

This listing is for the Roland TR-505 Rhythm Composer unit ONLY, nothing else is included.

I tested this unit with 6 AA batteries and it worked great, as expected.
*I do have an ac power adapter (NOT INCLUDED) that I would be willing to add to sale. Please message me about a separate transaction.
