“I think the state of the appearance is very good.
The keyboard is also beautiful, and there are no cracks etc. There is no liquid leak mark in the battery box.
Thread etc. are somewhat in the black key and the knob, so I think that it does not hurt to call it as a beauty item considering the age.
Power was turned on by the adapter of BOSS, sounds were output from all the keys, and it was confirmed that various knobs responded.
It is unconfirmed that battery operation confirmation, synchronization, etc.

Because it is a vintage analog synthesizer, please purchase only those who can understand.

” Very good condition, only small scratch on back, see photo. Tested, all functions seem to work well. Sounds good through headphones. I am not a musician, don’t know much about synthesizers but appears good.

I got it from an estate, don’t know it’s history.
Each button, key, switch or knob makes a sound or an effect. Seems perfect. I don’t know how to compose a song or a tune, but I can make some cool sounds come out!

“The synth is in excellent condition. There is a small hole at each end (see pics) that have been there since I purchased it some years ago. They are in no way have any effect on the operation of the synth. Aside from those, cosmetically it’s amazing. Minor signs of wear, but nothing of note. All knobs and sliders are intact and all lights work perfectly. Audibly all is also fine with no crackle or any other issues. Overall, the synth is in perfect working order and a must-have classic! “I am reluctantly selling my Roland SH101 from 1983 – All genuine, I have owned this one from new. …I purchased it from ‘Future Music’ in Chelmsford (no longer trading) and still have the receipt to prove it. So it’s a 1 owner since new item.

This unit is 35 years old and has been extremely well looked after. It has never been gigged and has had light studio use only (smoke free environment). For its age, it is in very good condition with every conceivable feature working as originally intended. It has recently been serviced / calibrated, So its ready to perform like new.

Cosmetically (for it’s age) the unit looks stunning, there are no broken keys or missing sliders, everything is where it should be. The case itself has no cracks or chips, however the ‘grey colour’ has changed slightly over the years from I guess, UV light exposure (…this of course does not affect the audio performance whatsoever).

The sale includes the genuine Boss PSU which was an extra at the time and if I can find them I have the original manual and programming charts (…I’ve just got to find them). I also have the original Roland service manual for this unit.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

“The classic Roland SH-101 in great shape. Sounds fantastic.

Cosmetically, this synth is in very good condition. Minimal wear, but some from normal use. Overall, cleaner than most you’ll find. It is missing one fader cap from the envelope section. Check out the photos.

Functionally, the synth is in good shape, but there are two (common) issues that I have encountered.
First, the ever so common dirty power switch. If this is bumped, the oscillator pitch fluctuates slightly.
Second, the benders forward LFO control doesn’t seem to change anything. The bender still functions left to right for the vco pitch and vcf cutoff, it just doesn’t change anything when the bender is pushed forward.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Fantastic condition please see all pictures. Battery compartment nice and clean. The bender works left to right but not upwards. This is the way I purchased it. I heard a small rattle in the unit and was told by the seller something came lose via shipping and should be an easy fix, but I am too scared to open it up.
However you can midi this thing up can get it to function. Other than that there are no other issues. I have priced it accordingly considering the age of these units and how many on the market are missing the battery cover and/or have battery damage. Only selling because i really need the cash for other investments. I will remove this listing if my cash flow improves thus keeping the synth in my collection.”
