“This is the real deal. A vintage Juno 106 synth. Heard on countless pop recordings in the last decade as pop producers dove into the thick 80’s synths. All the knobs and sliders are there and all work. The Voice chip 6 needs servicing. It works sometimes then decides not to work other times. Ive seen repair services go for $150 on here. The other note is the very highest key is cracked. Ive included a youtube link to show that everything works as I have described it. I just pulled it from my closet for the first tie in awhile. It seems as if all my presets were deleted. Not sure if thats an internal battery issue or what.”

– Internal Replacement Battery and Battery holder was installed. It makes battery change on Juno 106 soldering free! Another modification that was installed to this Juno 106.

– Juno 106 comes with Roland MSQ-100. This is the preferred sequencer for a Juno 106 and is even matched to go with it! It also allows you to MIDI sync your DIN equipped drum machines.

” They don’t get much cool than this, guys. This is a fully functioning Juno 106 that is in desperate need of a good home. We took this in on consignment from a local estate, from a local player. This absolutely nails the sounds of the late 80’s and early 90’s, and was one of the first synths available with digital memory to save presets. We tested all the buttons, knobs, and memory banks and presets, and everything appears to be functioning as it should. Cosmetically this has some sticker residue, some light marks, and the sides are missing a few screws (pictured), but should be an easy fix at the local hardware store. This is a fantastic synth for someone looking for original sounds of that era, and we’ll make sure it gets to you safely, and securely packed. Thanks for looking and good luck!”

“Vintage Roland Juno-106 Synthesizer Music Keyboard Legendary Classic Working!!!

this auction is for a Vintage Roland Juno-106 Synthesizer Music Keyboard Legendary Classic Working!!!, I am no expert on these models by any means, but I do know the functions of keyboards,

this synth comes with power cord, it turns on and it plays all buttons and functions appear properly working , some seem like the button hesitates probably needs contact cleaner and will solve that, but all buttons work except the Write Save and Verify buttons which have to do with recording of presets, apparently there is a battery in these units to keep the memory, possibly the battery needs replaced., has the craziest threshold sounds with adjustable perimeters and slap back abilities , the bender works great all sliders function as they should.

cosmetically it is very nice with only 1 issue which is the cigarette burn on the keys as pictured,

I think this synth would be fantastic if it was taken and properly cleaned by a professional or someone that knew what to do without harming it. ”

“Based on the serial number, this Roland Juno 106 is from April 1985 and given that, it is in excellent condition. It was built early in their run.

This was used to play out but it was very well cared for. Really no dings or scratches anywhere. No defects or broken parts. All features and functions work to the best of my knowledge. All keys work and look good, none stick or have any dings/chips.

“Roland Juno 106 Analog Synthesizer serial number 488166! No body damage and missing parts (please see all photos). Includes Power Supply, Soft Travel case, and a created manual (please see pic). This is a legendary synthesizer used by so many famous artists I can’t even begin to list.

Acquired around 20 years ago when I was young and wanted to add an electronic feel to our “band” at the time. Never really developed into a keyboard player at ALL (nor did I have any true musical talent so it literally sat in my basement for 20 years) but, am hoping someone else with actual talent will enjoy it. It does have a plaque on it that states “Playing for Jesus” -Sister BJ (please see photo). Never wanted to take it off because of all the compliments and attention. I assume it was used in a church at one time.

**Please Note** I did test this afternoon everything appears functional except every 6th key on keyboard. When pressed every 6th key has a form of distortion coming when playing a note. In researching vintage synth boards, I uncovered that this is a common issue and generally requires a cleaning. it has vintage 2 prong power connection cable which
is hard to get, but I still managed to check if it works.

It turns on and works, all sliders are original , there is some noise on some sounds.
Some sliders and functions are producing the hiss,some decline to produce any sound.

This beautiful synth should be cleaned properly and it needs some
attentive overhaul and restoration, but is alive.

“This is a vintage Roland Juno 106 that works, but will need some repair for it to function normally. It was pulled out of my brothers storage space after many years of idleness. There wasn’t a power cable with it so I had to buy a special two prong cable that it needs. I’m not a synth wiz but I’ve done the best I could to describe the problems below!

It seems like these models have a known “voice chip” problem. I’ve noticed that the first 4 voice chips seem to be working and the last 2 of them are not, simply because the first 4 notes played will be heard, and the next 2 won’t. The pitch bender feels a little loose in the spring. It bends down and springs back up on its own, but when bending the pitch up it tends to slowly come back compared to the former, which comes back up immediately. Both up and down DO work though whether you are using it for pitch or for the filter, but I noticed that I couldn’t get any LFO sounds when pressing the wheel forward. The LFO though seems to be working fine when I put it on the automatic setting. My guess is that the spring in the pitch bender needs replacing since it does feel a little loose.

All the keys tested fine and activated (accept when there was a bad voice chip about to be played obviously!) both chorus settings worked, as well as the oscillator, frequency, and ADSR sections. Basically all the sliders and buttons made a difference when adjusting them. The presets work too. Cosmetically it doesn’t look too bad at all for how old it is and I think it still looks pretty nice!

I am not sure how much work this will require I’ve done a little research about these in order to gain some knowledge for this listing but again. I’m not an expert by any means, and even though I’ve gone through all the different functions as best I could, and I want to be clear that there could possibly be other issues that are just not apparent to me. ” Synth has sticker on the back that says it was serviced in 1998 by Roland service. I’ve had it since ~2012. I purchased from someone on craigslist locally. The guy kept it covered with the black cover seen in the photos. I’ve kept great care of it ever since as I do with all my equipment. All voices work fine and controls work great.

**The only issue it has is the LFO delay slider goes from a little to a bit more towards the low end of the slider span. ie it jumps in value a bit.

This was much more noticeable when the slider was on the cuttoff frequency. I switched the two sliders because I didn’t care that the LFO delay had this sudden jump as It did on the cutoff. Honestly you probably wont even notice as it doesn’t jump that much. Maybe a value of 20 in terms of standard 1-127 in midi cc values.” Click here to search for synths on eBay
