“This is the Prodigy you have been waiting for! I purchased this beauty from an estate and by all accounts has been sitting in its original box for years. Box details that it is from the original Moog Facility in Buffalo,New York.

This is a rare model and the condition of it makes it that much more special. You will not find another one like this. Looks as if it has never been played.

“This synth was recently serviced and fully calibrated. The regulators and filter caps were replaced, and all internal trimmers were calibrated per the service manual. The keyboard was also removed and each key was individually cleaned as was the key contact assembly. The original vintage manual is also included, and signed by the author recently. There are some cosmetic imperfections as shown in the pictures, but this synth is in otherwise very good condition and all functions work as they should. The pitch and gate inputs have been tested and work perfectly, allowing you to send arpeggios / MIDI patterns through a eurorack or keystep type device.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

The only issue is that the lowest F key needs replacing. It sounds intermittently because it is loose. “Vintage Moog Prodigy Analog Synthesizer Model 336A.
This Prodigy sounds and works great. All the switches work and knobs turn smoothly.
All the keys are working properly.
It sounds amazing and is a lot of fun to play.
I’ve had this synth over 10 years and it has always worked well.
The wooden parts are a little beat up from its previous owner (see pics).
It has a lot of scuffs, scratches, and etc, it would be a nice one to restore.
I didn’t want to refinish it because I like its battle scars.
The only thing it is missing is the switch cap on the oscillator mod switch (still works perfect).”

“Just plugged it and and went through it. Here is what I can tell about functionality:
All keys are working and produce sound.
All controls and switches seem to be working and doing what they should.
7 of the potentiometers on the right side are broken off, pretty much flush to the top of the casing. But they can be turned with your fingertips and do function as they should.
Both oscillators working and octave switches work.
Interval control on oscillator 2 works but calibration seems to be off. When in center position as “Unison”, sounds are not in unison. Control has to be at about 10 o’clock position to be in unison.
Lowest “C” key has a crack in it but plays fine and feels solid. ” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Fully working, this unit has been modified with an external filter input and an S-Trig output jack. Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, though there are some marks on the wooden sides from use. The sound is perfect.
