“Korg MS2000B Analog Modeling Synthesizer Vocoder works, a few issues. So it powers up and heard all the sounds through the headphone jack,, great sounds, and very interesting to work with,, seems like all the lights and knobs are working.
biggest problem is the broken key which I think is fixable and the little plastic thingy sounds like its in the base of the machine

” Korg MS2000R Analog Modeling Synthesizer Rackmount Module USED in Good Condition. It is missing the original DC 9V power supply, which can easily be replaced for about $10. I used a one-stop power supply to show that it lights up and functions.

There are some cosmetic issues such some rust, some wear on the top corners and some small scratches as can be seen by the photos.

All of the small knobs are there and everything works fine without any issues.

This is a really cool analog/digital hybrid synth rack unit. So much functionality and editing capabilities it’s ridiculous.”

“Lower corner of rack mount plate bent, damaged. Does not effect play, but fastening bent corner into rack mount could be tricky. Works great, bought it with tweaked corner and did not hamper usage. All knobs and buttons feel solid.”

“This is a used vintage Korg MS2000R Analog Modeling Synthesizer. These are used for music production and more. This unit is a “Made in Japan” unit with serial number 004156.

It’s powered by a 9-volt DC power supply (center negative). I did not have the original OEM power supply but sourced one that is center-negative and will work with the unit. Once powered on (turn the power/volume knob) the unit powers on properly and the display/backlight are readable. I connected the unit to an external amplifier and was able to pass audio through it with no issues. I’m not an expert on these, but I was able to use the buttons on the unit as a keyboard and have the synth-sounds come out of it. It was rather cool as well!

The unit otherwise looks to be in good shape, no major rack rash or mounting damage as it seems the unit may have only been used outside of a rack. No major scratching on the top face of the unit, although there are some scratches on the bottom which wouldn’t be visible unless you looked on the bottom.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
