“This Korg EX-800 Synth Module is in VERY USED condition with dents and scratches all over. It had some hard use back in the 80s – I know because I used the heck out of it! The internal battery is good and the patches are all there – some may be custom/altered from the original factory patches but I think what is in there is better anyway. I have fully tested the unit and it works fine – sounds just like it should – I forgot how awesome these old modules sound! Anyway, here it is – A Generic Power Adapter is included!

It has a new battery that will last years and comes preloaded with patches. All functions and controls work. The filter on this beast is legendary and can deliver juicy sweeps with that distinctive 80’s sound on a budget! It has a few cosmetic blemishes that you can see clearly in the photos, but nothing big.” 
” Very good condition- inside and out as you can see by the photos. I have been repairing consumer and pro gear since 1979 and all my gear has been well cared for and maintained to a Tee. All controls, switches and input/output jacks have been thoroughly cleaned and deoxidized. All tact switches work as if new. The electrolytic capacitors have all been checked for excessive ESR and the voltage regulators scoped for excess ripple and proper output. I have also replaced the soldered-in memory backup battery with a battery holder so the backup battery can be easily changed in the future. I have owned this little beauty for about 20 years and it has seen very seldom use. I’m going through all of my gear, refurbing it all and reluctantly letting it go. It comes with the power supply, both the Owner’s manual and Service manual in digital form (PDF) and the factory sysex downloaded directly from Korg’s website. There are several sites that you can get free patches from which can be downloaded and imported via midi or the tape input. The power supply is included but is not original. Hoping it goes to a good home that will appreciate it for what a gem it is!”

” KORG EX800 VINTAGE ANALOG POLYPHONIC SYNTHESIZER MODULE. 8 voice synth module with sequencer. This one is stock but there a couple of cool mods you can do e.g. Moog Slayer to bring out an extra edge. Similar in vibe to the Roland JX/Juno series. The numerical keypad buttons sometimes need pressing twice but I haven’t found it too annoying. I replaced the memory battery a couple of years ago when I first bought it so it should be good for a long while! Condition is Used.”
