“This item is in very good condition. It was surviced by Forat. The SP has the upgraded bright lcd screen. All the sliders Knobs and outputs are in excellent condition. There’s a minor chip on the very back of the machine and scratches (see pics). I didnt even notice it until I took pics of the machine. Doesn’t affect the functionality whatsoever. I’m only selling because I recently bought a 1200 and I can’t keep both.”

” This listing is for a Classic 1980’s Vintage E-MU Emulator II Sampler/Synthesizer that is currently not working. It has been in storage in a temperature controlled environment and has not been used for a number of years. Not sure what the issue is, but when the power button is turned on, the disk drives spin but nothing else happens. The display does not illuminate and the disk does not load. Since I don’t have the time to troubleshoot the unit, I’m selling the unit as-is and as not working.

“This is an EMU SP-12 with factory Turbo. It’s in decent cosmetic shape and shows typical wear associated with vintage gear. Most importantly, though, it is in fantastic working shape. It’s been fitted with a Noritake Itron display and blue filter for easy viewing at any angle. The display looks nice in person, though my camera couldn’t focus when I pointed at it. I am including a wire bound copy of the user manual and power cord. “

“Mighty SP12 Turbo: everything works. All LEDs, sliders, knobs and buttons. The sliders are in very good shape. I bought it from the original owner. Serviced last week, new battery, NOS slider caps purchased to a reputed seller and will include 5 original slider caps as spares. I have owned and used dozens of drum machines (beggining with a Drumulator in 1985) and to me the SP12 has the best workflow of all.

” E-mu Drumulator was the sample-based drum-machine by E-mu Systems. It was introduced in 1983 at a price of US$995. The Drumulator was E-mu’s attempt at creating a rhythm machine like the Linn LM-1 that was better and cheaper. It was used a lot in early 1980s in synthpop and Italo-disco productions.
