“Original SP12 TURBO Sampling Drum Machine. 12 bit sampler for true lo-fi sound! This one has the turbo upgrade for a whopping 5 seconds of sampling time.
Very good condition, recently serviced by Forat which included the blue screen upgrade. Have not used it since the service, so this SP12 is in incredible condition. Everything works.
Case is in great condition, never been dropped. The only cosmetic imperfection is two white marks between slider 1 and 2 (see pic). Otherwise great. Corners and sides are round and smooth, no dents. Some tape residue on the right side (see pic), I’m sure it can be taken off.

“Extremely rare E-MU Systems EMAX I HD Plus SE Sampler. Factory HD Plus SE version. Internally mounted SCSI2SD 5.1 board with SD card capable of holding nearly 160 banks in the floppy drive slot. Comes loaded with many custom and factory library sounds I will include download links for entire Emax library as well. Also includes factory installed external SCSI port on rear.
System boots up in seconds from SD card. Banks save and load nearly instantaneously. The HD advantage is huge over standard floppy or Gotek systems as every function of the unit is faster and more responsive.

For sale is a rare vintage E-Mu Systems SP12 Drum Machine / Sampler. This one is in excellent condition. Turbo edition OS V2.6. Very clean for its age only minor signs of wear. Hard to find SP12s in such nice shape. Be sure to check out the pictures to make sure you like it. 100% fully functional, recently serviced all pads & buttons so they are triggering well. Brand new battery installed. There is even still some backlight life left in the original screen (another good sign this machine has not seen excessive use). Excellent working condition. Every single button, jack, knob & slider tested and working.
All 30 front panel function buttons disassembled and cleaned!
Black Play, Run & Tap buttons not cleaned but all working like new.
Everything tested except MIDI thru jack.
Pots, sliders, sampling, sound load, etc. all working great.
This unit has had very little use considering it’s age and is in top cosmetic shape.
There are some scuff marks on the grey housing, but only a few and not too bad. See pictures.
The front panel photo shows some “discoloration spots” that stand out much more in the photo than they actually do.

Here it goes…My loss your gain again. On the block is a GREY Sp1200 that was painted black. The paint job was done by an automotive body shop. I’ve attached a few pics showing the places where a slight bit of over-spray occurred. Very slight and it’s hard to tell. Front Panel was modded and the display contrast knob was inserted. The sample input monitoring mod was done so you can hear what you’re sampling also. I’m including a Pelican Flight case also. “Here is a very rare E-mu Emulator EIII Sequencer Sampler Module Firmware 2.0 / OS 2.40 (serial#07000223). Has the expanded 8MB ram memory. Has sounds in the built in internal drive. I made a copy of the OS disk. Extra external hard drive with cable is also included. Just checked by a well known Bay Area Tech. Few connections were resoldered. Fully tested and works as it should! I’ve uploaded a few video on my instagram “tristarmusicgear” showing the OS at power up. According to my research very few of these rack versions exist and they only show up for sale once every few years. This rack has the same exact sounds and parts as the legendary EIII keyboard.There are visible marks/scratches mostly on the top and bottom panel. Scratch on the outside plastic screen cover. “Emu SP12 Turbo Serviced
For sale is a rare vintage Emu SP12 Turbo. This one is fully functional and just got back from a full professional servicing and is ready to go for making sounds in your studio. Cosmetically it’s in great shape. It does show some wear on the sides, but the top has a newly installed graphic overlay so the top of the unit looks very clean. The only thing to note is the backlight is out on the screen (common for these old units), but you can still read the display. Replacement screens are available and can be found online. The turbo version has 5 seconds of sampling time. All pads and buttons have been serviced/cleaned for perfect triggering, and it also has had the internal battery replaced. If you have been looking for a nice SP12 that won’t give you any functional troubles, this is the one to get! The SP12 is a classic drum machine that gets you the feel and tone of the SP1200, with 5 seconds of sampling on the Turbo version. “This is a EMU SP-1200 drum machine and sampler in excellent and fully functioning condition. I am the original owner and it has always been kept in my studio.
The only issue is that one individual output has damage on the physical socket barrel. It has lost it’s nut ring and a small section is missing. It does function despite this issue.
Included is a large assortment of floppy disks. I’ve included a picture of almost if them.
