It has those very unique classic Synthesizer sounds and combinations built in! The chorus slide control is missing the knob but still works and the battery cover on the back is missing. * Once volume was set, all keys produced sound via headphone jack, all instruments worked, pitch bend, and other keys appeared to be working.
* I don’t have MIDI cables, so no midi testing was performed

The CZ-5000 synthesizer was almost identical to the CZ-3000, but had a built in 8 track sequencer. In most other regards, it was virtually identical to the other CZ series synthesizers.

Appears to be fully working with the exception of the pitch bend function which seems a little weird when it’s cranked up all the way.

Plastic veneer is scuffed and peeled away in one area, but the function buttons in that area all appear to be working.

Phones signal is good and output signal is good.

No adapter included.

“We bought this broken synth while our tech was on vacation. We’ve had nearly all vintage synths but never had one of these, so we were pretty excited about buying one for the collection, or at least playing with for a while until we got tired of it. So we emailed our tech and he was like “yeah, sure, I can fix it, no prob”…..until he returned from vacation and we took a close look at it and discussed what it would take to get it up to our high standards, which, admittedly, are way higher than most. Considering the amount of time and money we would have to invest in fully refurbishing it to meet our standards and the fact that we have much more important items to deal with here that require time we haven’t got, we are offering this unit strictly as is. Our price reflects what we have invested in it so far. We would only recommend this Synthasound to someone experienced in the repair of such items, as either a fixer-upper or a parts donor. It has been tested out and it is not working properly
I have tested out the keys to make sure they work – They all make similar buzzing noises when headphones are attached
I did not get sound without having headphones attached
I did not plug it into an amplifier to test out that feature
It seems almost all of the keys work except for a couple – (I am not familiar with this item so I could have punched them in incorrectly)
This was being powered by 6 “D” batteries – (Batteries not included)
