“Casio CZ1000 keyboard synthesizer. Highly sought after 1980s full sized keys synthesizer. This one needs some work. It produces sounds but the buttons for changing sine waves etc will need to be reworked a bit. Down here in New Orleans there aren’t really any dependable folks who can set it straight. Maybe one of you electronic wizard types can have a go at it. This was used in home recording situations since the 80s. In good working condition. Runs on battery or AC adapter. As is common for this model, some powerline hum when operating from AC adapter, and the volume slider is noisy when operated (but quiet when not being slid).

LCD display has a faded row, and some light scratches on rear (see pictures). Battery compartment clean; original foam padding on access door no longer present.”

Works well except pitch wheel glitches at extremes. Vinyl over far left buttons unglued a bit.
Not every function was tested but all the buttons and keys seem to do what they were meant to.
Could use a good cleaning. Please see all the pictures for more details.

“This Casio CZ-101 is tested and working great. It’s used and in very good condition. A previous owner wrote “9V” on the far right of the keyboard.. to remind them what power supply to use I guess.

That being said, it is tested with a 9V power supply (not included) and works great. I didn’t test it with batteries but the compartment looks clean so it should be good to go.”
