Overall, the synth is in superb working condition. The front panel is very clean, with only minor marks and blemishes. The aluminium side panels are really tidy with only minor marks. The back panel is very clean with only minor blemishes to the paintwork.
All knobs, sliders, buttons and switches are present and function correctly.
There are three replacement dual function knob caps – these are genuine Akai parts as used on the EWV2000. These controls all function correctly.
The unit has been fully tested, a new backlight installed, memory battery replaced, calibration procedure checked and the oscillator tuning and scaling confirmed.
The latest v1.2 OS has been installed.
The synth has sounds in memory – a mix of user created and factory sounds.
