“I’ve owned this unit for almost 20 years, but haven’t used it much. I own the entire Roland MKS line, and it pains me to sell but I need to free up money for a piece of gear I need for Mixing. This is been the jewel of my collection for quite some time.
I have brought the unit to Allen @ Synthspa here in Tennessee and he did a full restoration which includes:
– Power supply board rebuilt
– output section resoldered and deoxidized
– new removable battery and chassis
– full calibration
– front panel rebuilt ; all pots and sliders
– great internal sounds!
He also replaced several of the audio capacitors with high quality components, and a few of the output transistors. The unit sounds cleaner than it’s ever sounded.
It is a 30 year old unit, so it has some bumps and bruises.
This is a VERY great sounding synth and one of the best vintage rack mount modules in existence. Also, this is not the latest rev5 version, so it has the preferred filters. “This is a Roland TR-505 drum machine. It’s old, it’s used, it doesn’t work when I plug it in.
It worked when I packed it away ten years ago, so who knows—maybe it’s just corrosion on the AC adapter socket. That’s for you to figure out, though, not me.

” Juno 60, in great working condition. Just had one of the 3 position toggle switches replaced along with the internal battery. The internal battery was soldered from the factory, so an optional battery holder was added in place of the original battery to make future battery replacements 100% solder free.
New dust protection for slides and toggles. The toggle and slide switches are somewhat protected by the manufacturer installed foam dust protectors. The problem with the OEM foam is it becomes brittle with age, then falls apart. Replacement dust protectors, made from laser cut black felt, are an upgrade to the original foam type that does eventually fail. Felt material will never need replacing.
Cosmetically, the end caps are in less than stellar condition. The vinyl wood print glued on pressboard has started to detach. This, of course, does not effect the function of the keyboard in any way. My thought was to fabricate a pair of new ends, and replace them both with solid teak or oak. There is no doubt it would be a huge improvement, but it was decided to leave as-is for the purists that might want a completely original keyboard. ”

“Up for sale here is my classic Roland Jx3p synth and programmer (the excellent mode machines dt200).
Obviously it is an old synth and has some signs of slight wear and tear. It was fully serviced in the 1990s, and is functioning well in all areas.
A thing of note to mention is that at some point (probably in the service) the power cord has been replaced with a super long cable, this makes it much easier when setting it up in a studio or on stage!

It’s a fantastic sounding synth with some amazing bottom end, particularly on the string/pad sounds which have that classic Jupiter/Juno feel. ”

“JX-3P powers on and produces sound. Sequencer works and the synth sounds amazing. It was cleaned and calibrated by Davidson Electronics in NY about a year ago – they installed a new battery as well.
However it seems like there is a power issue. The synth sometimes does not power on. When this happens, if I lift the right side of the synth up (where the cord is), it powers on. Sometimes it freezes up and needs to be rebooted. For this reason, I think the power cord is loose or the power supply needs to be replaced. I am not a synth tech, so I’m not sure. For this reason, I am selling the synth “for parts not working.””

” This is a true classic Roland DCO analog synth. Very warm and easy to edit, even in realtime with the Alpha dial. The keys have been recently taken apart and contacts cleaned professionally. Plays beautifully. There are a few black marks under a few keys. Like my Alpha Juno 1, the plastic tip on the Volume slider is missing. I just ordered 2 new 106 slider tips and will include one if it fits properly. Power cord included. ”

“Korg PolySix AS-IS but I got sounds from it as they change when turning knobs,switches and wheels.. I got this from a friend who was a smoker back in he day..It dosen’t smell now, But some keys have burns..I was going to Rebuild it,but I’m playing again and don’t have the time..I’m selling it for parts but WILL NOT Break it up!!!
