“Up for auction is one Yamaha CS-20m synthesizer from 1979 in great condition!! The synth works great and sounds fantastic. Unlike some other synths of the era, you can store up to eight presets right on the board, which is AMAZING for an analog synth. Sure helps when you spent a lot of time dialing in a cool sound and want to retain it for later use. I’ve tested the memory preset buttons and all the knobs and sliders. The CV Gate function works (really cool), (used my korg kr 55 for that). Did not test the tape storage function but see no reason why that shouldn’t work as well, the synth is in great condition. The two very minor issues are: the LED light on preset #5 is not working, but this does not affect the ability to save a preset on button five and the sustain slider cap is broken off, but this does not affect the function of the sustain, although you may want to replace the slider if you want to put the slider cap back on.
