# Korg MS-10
“This auction is for a lovely vintage Korg MS-10 monophonic semi-modular synthesizer.
I’m selling this on behalf of a friend: it has recently been serviced and is in good working order. As with all vintage equipment, expect the odd crackle from the pots if they’ve not been used for a while. There’s a fair few scuffs and scratches to the casing and two of the control knobs/pots have been replaced with correct value components (but non-matching knobs), as have many of the screws in the casing. The three black keys on the left are chipped and there is some scratching and discolouration to the keys in general: a thorough clean would improve its appearance.
I recently sold my own MS-10 and bought an MS-20. These wonderful instruments are capable of some great noises, and are especially good for bass and lead sounds. They were much-loved by the rave generation and can be a good introduction to basic synthesis techniques. The external input enables you to apply the famed Korg Low Pass Filter to any sound you wish.
