# VINTAGE Roland Synth 101, System 100

Roland, System 100 @ 07 March 2010

“The Synthesizer 101 section is a fully self-contained analog mono-synth. It features a 37-note keyboard (with no performance controls, velocity or aftertouch), and lots of sliders to tweak. Its design is similar to the SH-series analog synths. Controls for the VCO, LFO, VCF lowpass/highpass filters, VCA with ADSR, Noise, and Portamento/Glide effects are all within hands reach.

Each component of the System 100 was relatively self-sufficient with its own power supply and housing. Roland’s idea was that someone would start out with the Synthesizer 101 and add on to it piece by piece. The 101 – this model – needs nothing more to work, but can be added to if you were to buy the add-ons.

This unit is in great condition, powers up, and works well, as it was tested in-store.” Link
