# Roland TR-808
“TR-808 with Kenton KADI port installed (needs Kenton KADI device or expansion to Pro-2000 to be used). New 16 step buttons and pots by Technology transplant were installed, to replace few of the original ones. The originals are included with the purchase, so you can always return to 100% original if necessary (they’re all still functional although not as good as new ones). The start/stop button is sometimes not as sensitive as it should be, but still it works. This is a common problem with 808′s and is mentioned here, so it will not come as a surprise. There’s a input for start /stop in the back, so pedal or sequencer can be used. Also, there are 3 gate trigger outputs that can be sequenced from the 808. Very good with other analog gear (such as drum modules or synths). Also sync output for Roland gear (no midi without KADI device).
