“Travel back in time with this awesome old 1980s synthesizer. Made in Japan, it’s a Roland D-50. I used it for a couple years, but now four of the keys don’t work: E2, C3, G#3, and E4. So, it’s a repair project.
When I played it, I just used all the basic functions. I never could figure out how to get all the fancy stuff to work. So, I cannot swear on a stack of Bibles that all the bazillion sub-functions works. As far as I know, they do, but I don’t know for sure. And them’s the facts!
I absolutely love the weird trippy voices that it has. All the weird sounds on the second Toadstool Shadow album are from this very synth. The problem is that I do not know how to fix synths. So, it’s on to the next owner.
It comes with the original power cord. It has ordinary age and play wear, with various scratches and scrapes and stuff. But it still looks pretty good. It’s not cracked or anything like that. ”
