# Moog Satellite
“Up for bids is a Moog satellite Synthesizer. The Synth is in great shape, and even comes with the registration sound guide. A hard item to find.
This Synth came out of my neighbors basement. He used it as another row with his theatre organ. It has been babied and if in fantastic shape.
Cosmetically the synth is in fantastic shape. The walnut is unfaded with only a few small nicks above the sliders and a little wear on the top of the sides. Also, a few of the knobs above the sliders appear to have shrunk a small amount causing the seam to show slight separation. Nothing major and really hard to see. I just want full disclosure. Other than that just some dust. I have even cleaned it up a bit since taking the pictures. I’ll let them do the talking.
Everything on the Synth functions and it sounds awesome. There are only two issues keeping this from being 100%.
First the volume slider is a little scratchy/noisy at about 3/4 volume. Once set it makes good contact.
Second, a few of the bass keys (bottom 3 or 4) sometimes flutter in sound. A slight contact issue. They have been getting better the more it gets played. I’m sure a quick cleaning would do the trick. This only seems to show up when holding a long note.” Link
