# Moog Opus 3

Moog, Opus 3 @ 18 January 2010

opus3 “he Opus 3 is a fully polyphonic string/brass/organ polyphonic instrument with a 49-note (C-C) keyboard- and has 3 main instrument sections- Strings, Brass and the main Organ section. These are not preset, but offer a wide array of sounds that you can shape and build for yourself. Sonically, the Organ is very rich and warm sounding, with a 6-slider variable tone section, the Strings section features FM modulation and a cool sounding chorus for more ambient or prog sounds, and the Brass section features the ability to do more hi-pitched squeals and bass pulses. The Opus 3 was also a big part of Stereolab’s trademark sound for many years. All buttons, switches, sliders are present & intact and working. This model features FM modulation,2 VCF’s, one for a brass section and one for the string section (with switchable high, low, or band-pass filtering and resonance) and two rotary wheels for pitch bends and modulation control. It features stereo outputs and each of the brass, string, and organ sections can be panned. The rubber feet are still properly intact. The power cord is included with this auction. The unit is in great shape cosmetically, and has been in a smoke-free environment for the duration of my ownership.” Link
