# Moog Opus 3
“For Sale : Moog Opus 3 Analog Synthesizer in Very Good Condition. I purchased this synth about a year ago and it has the Diabolical Devices upgrade where they replaced some of the LED with blue which looks extremely cool – especially when the LFO is going with the lights out. Check the pics .. Overall cosmetics, this unit is very clean – I’d say about a 9/10 .. with (very) minimal scratching on the sides and the face is super clean .. keys are straight and it is a fine example of this synth.. All functions work on this synth except one, and that is why I brought it into the shop to have it ‘tune up’, (see receipt) to the tune of $140.00 and check out the issue with the Brass section .. To my ears when I pan the Brass section to the hard right, it emits a sort of ‘distortion’ to the brass sound .. it is very easy to get around this by just panning left or reducing the volume in the Brass overall .. but when I got it back from the shop – they thought it sounded ‘normal’. I usually would just blend the other sections up and pan L and its no problem. But I take good care of all my synths, so I am disclosing everything to the best of ability .. Other than that – the synth plays and sounds really great. The warmth and organic sounds from synth will suprise you .. If you are curious about a band that features the Opus 3 heavily – I would check out Sleepy Eyes of Death. It’s all over their albums.” Link
