# Moog MG-1

MG-1, Moog @ 08 March 2010

“This Realistic Concertmate MG-1 (serial # 1858) synthesizer from the mid ’70s was designed and built by Moog Music for sale in Radio Shack stores. It has all Moog circuitry, filters, oscillators, and envelope generators. Essentially, this is an everyman version of the Mini-Moog that was (and still is) widely used to create the synth sounds heard in recordings of the day. This unit produces all those classic sounds that Moog lovers have come to expect from the brand.

This unit is in excellent condition. I used it only in an in-home setting, and infrequently. The exterior is in near-mint condition, with no dings or scratches. I even still have the originial box (or what’s left of it), which I’d be happy to include. Unfortunately, I’ve lost the original owner’s manual, but discovered that it’s available as a download online. It was never taken on the road, or exposed to the wear and tear of live performance. I’ve had this keyboard checked out by a qualified technician, and while not “restored”, it has been thoroughly tested and all functions (filters, envelope generators, mixer, etc.) are in fine working order. All knobs and switches are original. The only modification this machine has is that the brown foam that covered the circuit board has been removed to prevent its breaking down and affecting the operation.

While this keyboard is in excellent working condition, as a vintage item I offer a return guarantee only if on receipt the item differs significantly from the above description.” Link
