# Moog 952 Keyboard Controller
“Vintage MOOG Model 952 Keyboard Controller
There are only a few minor scrapes to the cloth and some minor places where the cloth could be re-glued. See additional photos link below for more. On the right side of the keyboard there is a small hole in the cloth and the area there needs to be re-glued in general(the cloth). I didn’t want to attempt any repairs to the cloth as I assumed that it may depreciate the value. Some MOOG historian probably knows exactly what glue was used and this process should obviously be duplicated for maximum future use and value as this is an extremely rare keyboard. Some minor lifting of the fabric and a couple of small holes that appear over all and in general to be way less than normal wear and tear. This does not look like a “played” keyboard and the keys don’t feel like that either. It looks more like something that was played lightly and then just left alone and forgotten about for many years. I only gave it a basic wipe for dust and a gentle cleaning with a compressed air gun afterward to remove any fibers from the cloth. The air gun was on low pressure and has a water separator valve so there was no chance of moisture etc. I took great care in prepping this keyboard. The only liberty that I took was to bend back the lock on one side of the case as it was not flat as it needs to be to lock for transporting. It was bent over in a “J” shape and well the case would never lock like that. You can see where I did this but it looks pretty solid and now the case locks as per normal. All the potentiometers, switches and keys are free and move very well. No Pepsi Syndrome here! The case cover has all 8 stock rubber feet intact! You should just be able to plug this baby right in to your synth modules and rock and roll but this is being sold as is where is only unless you can bring your synth modules here to test. I am not a keyboard player and have absolutely no need for this. I had a pretty good idea how valuable this particular keyboard was when I saw it in a lot that I bought and that is why I bought it. Again, if you do happen to have a MOOG synth and are anywhere near Andover, Ma please contact me and I would be happy to let you hook it up as long as you bring stock MOOG modules and not some custom thing that may damage the keyboard. Please don’t wait until the last 24 hours of the auction end to ask if you can come by. ” Link
