“on sale my beautiful vintage MOOG MEMORYMOOG analog polyphonic synthesizer.
It is the 1st European export version, works natively at 220v.
I bought it years ago from the original owner and it spent all its life in studio: never gigged nor toured.
It’s been pictured in the famous Peter Forrest’ “A/Z of Analogue Synthesizers” book and it’s still in the same beautiful cosmetic
state as you can see in that book.
Electronically, even though this generation of MM is always followed by a bad reputation, it always worked well and never gave me any trouble so far.
Each time I give the Autotune command, it ends up tuning the 6 voices without weird behaviours. Even keeping it on for hours doesn’t make it give
problems at all and the tuning’s always straight.
It sounds great and, to me, it’s still one of the greatest sounding polyphonic synths of all time.
