MIDINES @ 10 November 2009

midnies “All you do is pop the cartridge into the Nintendo, plug the midi cable form the midiNES into your keyboard or sequencer and go from there. NES’s raw waveforms are just that, RAW! The Triangle is killer for bass. Midines provides full access to the 2x Pulse, Tri, Noise and DMC (sample) channels. Including access to sweep, duty, volume and length sound registers. Version 1.1.0 features 256 samples (accessible in two keyboard banks) featuring TR707, TR808, TR909, LINN, Amen+other breaks, stabs, and essential chip battlz. Really gritty, gamey, and glitchy sound. More info at http://www.wayfar.net The NES is old, It has dings and a small chip in the corner. It still plays games! I am the first owner of the midiNES cartridge. Beyond a little dirt on the paper sticker, the cartage is in great shape and is in 100% working order. The first time it will take about 5 minuets of wiggling and jiggling to get it to run. But once you get it started, it runs great. Once you find the sweet spot. it’s no big deal. And thats only if you want the video mode running. You do not need a TV hooked up for the midiNES to work. It has much less noise in the audio without a TV hook up. I am including a new pin connecter for the NES. I never installed it. It may take away the jiggling part of the start up. Also included is a brand new power supply, two NES controllers and RCA and Video cables. Everything you need to get going in one box.” Link
