# Korg Polysix KLM 368 Chorus Ensemble Board

Korg, Polysix @ 16 January 2010

pe368 “I am auctioning a KLM 368 Effects Board pulled from a Korg Polysix Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer. This board has three modes: phase, chorus, and ensemble, all using three MN3004 BBD-based analog delay lines. It is an important part of the Polysix’s distinctive sound, and can be used independently as an effects processor for other instruments. There is documentation available on the web on how to make this into a standalone effects processor or a module for an modular synth. I have listed links to some of this information below.

This board was pulled from a working Polysix that had suffered the beginnings of the dreaded Polysix battery leak. Luckily when the leak was discovered, it had only effected the microcontroller/preset board, and the corrosion did not reach any of the other boards. While it has not been tested outside of the Polysix, it worked perfectly as part of the synthesizer, and was carefully removed and stored. Because I have not been able to test it outside of the synth, I am selling it AS IS.

I am including the KLM 370 which includes the front panel controls for this board. You could harvest this for the potentiometers and the rotary switch or simply use it to figure out how to hookup other controls the effects board.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
