” MINT condition WERSI bass synth.

These units are VERY RARE.

The unit functions perfectly and is in tune. no scratchy pots. Unit is packed in a hard case. The case itself has a few scuffs there and there, but the synthesizer part has none. Look at the pic for yourself” Link

“I have up for sale this beautiful Wersi model Pagasus Expander, from a very clean non-smoking estate. This was removed from the Yamaha organ that it was hooked up to and is in excellent working condition. This comes with all the connectors that are needed to connect it to the organ. This uses floppy discs and there are extras in the folder that will come with this unit. The folder says that it has the instructions for the Pagasus, but I think they may be for the organ. The owner stated that this was a VERY expensive piece of equipment when it was purchased aprox 10 years ago. The exterior of the unit is in excellent condition, and was always used in the home and never left the shelf on the organ.” Link

“Heute biete ich hier meinen WERSI AP6 BAß-Synthesizer an.

Optisch gut, technisch gehen ein paar Sachen nicht.

Was funktioniert:

Synthesizer-Wellenformen 16´Saw oder

16´+8´´Saw +8″Pulse gleichzeitig,

Sinus 1´2´4´8´,

problemlos erzeugen.

Verkauf als “Defekt” aufgrund der beschriebenen Mängel.” Link

“This vintage Wersi Expander has not been tested by me because I have no idea how to do so. I did plug it in and when I do, it lights up like a Christmas tree. The lights change and and blink in a variety of ways. My guess is that it does work because it seems like when ever I buy something like this it works. The expander is marked “Wersi Expander EX 10 R Made in Germany”.” Link

“This unusual piece seems to be popular in Europe. The WERSI MIDI Expander EX 10R is a MIDI rack that contains the same electronics and capabilities of the Wersi Omega DX 10. The unit has many elements such as: Draw-bars for the Hammond sound, patches for Strings, Brass, Trombone, Trumpet, Clarinet, Flute, Choir, Accordion, Church organ, Piano, Vibes, Guitar, Banjo, Harpsichord, Violin, etc. It also has a rhythm section. I received this unit as part of a Hammond Commodore 300 (for sale separately in a concurrent auction) which it had been custom cabled to in order to utilize it (the organ does not have native MIDI capability). It has a “DMS” sound for those familiar. It comes with a RAM cartridge, power cord and original manual.” Link

Wersi EX 20 MIDI Expander – Digital Synthesizer as seen in the photo. This is a Digital Synthesizer without the Keyboards. This unit will expand your Keyboard Instrument and its capabilities into new dimensions of sound. I was given this by a friend who was moving. As you can see from the photos it powers up. I do not have a keyboard, therefore I am unable to test it any further. Selling as is. It powers up, reads out and looks good but I cannot test it, therefore this is an “AS-IS” AUCTION. NO RETURNS. This was a very expensive piece of equipment and I know there are audiophiles who know what this can do.” Link

“You are bidding on a Wersi EX 20 MIDI Expander. This is a digital synthesizer capable of playing up to 20 polyphonic notes on eack key. Up to four different sounds can be played simultaneously. These sounds are based on a configuration of sound modules. Each voice is entirely independent from other voices and each voice has its own wave, pitch-envelope, amplitude envelope, routing, and volume. The EX 20 also features analog effects to produce fourier, waveform sample, and modular synthesis. The front panel features a set of 16 drawbar sliders for each synthesis mode. You can create your own custom waveform. A 61 note velocity & pressure keyboard can be split and provide up to four different timbres simultaneously per side. The EX 20 is the rack mount version of Wersi’s MK1 Keyboard Synthesizer. Both instruments can ‘see’ up to 16 midi channels for multi-timbral operation, and can transmit on up to 8 channels at one time. The back of the unit features the following connections:

* 1/4″ Headphone Jack
* (2) Two programmable footswitches
* Volume control connection
* MIDI in
* MIDI out
* MIDI thru
* Left/Right/Stereo 1/4″ output jacks

The EX 20 will expand your synthesizer, organ, or keyboard instrument and it’s capabilities into a new dimension of sound and features! With the EX 20 Expander, you have added virtually eight additional keyboards to your present instrument which can be controlled through MIDI from your present instrument, a sequencer, or a computer. This Expander is perfect for not only the keyboard player but also the Hammond, theater organ enthusiast, or the contemporary church organist. Not only does this unit have bank after bank of sounds, you can also create sounds with it using the drawbars.

I purchased this unit new and have hardly used it. To date, I still have not utilized all of the capabilities of the EX 20 Expander. I have used it connected to my Rodgers 820 church organ in my home that has MIDI and also a computer with MIDI. It has only the normal wear commensurate with its age. The unit comes with its power cord and a copy of two complete user guides to help you program and utilize all of its capabilities. I also have an additional ROM cartridge available that is being auctioned off separately. It will also work with other Wersi digital instruments and adds an additional 20 voices to the EX 20 Expander. The Wersi EX 20 MIDI Expander is a digital synthesizer/sound module with significant capabilities! ” Link
