Aucun soucis ;-) Link

“The original techno/house bass synthesiser. Very reluctant sale and I know I’m going to regret it forever…

Bit scratched here and there but nothing out of the ordinary for an instrument of this age.

It has been retro fitted with CV/Gate/Filter/Accent outputs and I will ship it with a kenton pro 2 midi to CV converter!!!!” Link

“For sale I have a vintage Roland TB-303 Bass Line synthesizer. Classic analog synthesizer, the famous machine that changed the world of electronic music!

The machine is in good condition, all of the buttons and knobs turn work and turn smoothly.

Everything works perfectly, no static when turning the knobs.

All of the buttons have been replaced with new ALPS switches on the original TB-303 PCB, you won’t need to deal with sticky or mis-triggering buttons, a common problem with old 303s and 606s!

The case is in good condition, with only a few minor scratches or scuffs (see photos), no chips on the corners. There are two holes on the rear panel that have been filled and touched up where a modification used to be installed (it was removed). Not very noticeable, but there.

There is little or no wear around the knobs from tweaking!

The machine is sold as-is in working condition.” Link

“Vintage Roland TB-303 – Midi modified by Colin Fraser – Amazing
Up for sale is this wonderful TB-303.
It’s in great cosmetic condition… and 100% working condition.
This 303 has wonderful white LEDS. Looks sharp! (& not too bright)
No wear at all around the knobs. This is super clean.
No chips in plastic. Battery compartment is clean.

But the best part is this 303 has been midi modified!
Colin Fraser added his “MIDIBass 303″ mod which allows the following:

- Midi IN Clock Sync from any midi source. Now you can sync this 303’s internal sequencer
to your computer’s DAW or other midi master hardware. It’s wonderful, and perfect timing.

- Midi IN synth control. Locate an empty pattern on this 303, and then send midi notes from
either a DAW or other hardware… and sequence/play midi notes, slides, accents, etc. This is an
excellent way to create unique acid lines that break the 16 note barrier of the 303’s original sequencer.
By far, this is my favorite option on this 303.

- MIDI OUT Clock Sync… Transmit clock to other hardware or DAW

- MIDI OUT Sequencer info… Send & back up your sequences to hardware or DAW.

Full info , manual, etc can be found here:

http://www.colinfraser.com/mb303/

This is truly an amazing TB-303.
To top off, it’s also been overhauled.
It’s been given a bass boost which gives the sound even more power…
and the decay is really nice. I’ve owned 3 303’s before, and this decay is perfect.
You can go from full open envelope to short staccato decay. Extremely flexible.

Included:
TB-303 (w/ midi)
Two custom MIDI to 1/8″ TRS cables
Original Manual
Specified Roland Adapter

Don’t sleep. These don’t show up for sale often.
Especially 303s that look this nice.
This item will be packed with love & care, as if it was going to the Moon.
Rest safe knowing it will float in layers of bubblewrap & be double boxed.” Link

“Roland TB-303 is in 100% pristine working condition. This unit is flawless and only had one owner, who took great care of it. Interesting side-note: This 303 was so solitary that it still has the original programming done by it’s first owner who used it in the “standard” bassline style that Roland intended for the instrument. (see video link below)

This 303 is accompanied by the full kit, and then some:

Original Roland Bag

Scale Circle

The PSA-120S (updated) Power Supply (better than the original)

Fold-Out Card

(Vintage) Personalized Tutorial given to the original owner

This Roland TB-303 is in excellent condition. Serious inquiries only please.” Link

I purchased the 303 back in 1986 and its been with me ever since.
For its age and the use its had it is in extremely good condition, The picture should let you see the various marks and scratches but im sure you’ll agree its still looking very good, to be honest the marks look worst on the picture that it does in real life? “i guarantee”.
I had the unit in a professional studio in the late 80’s and it was hung on the wall with a Roland SH-101 and a TR-909 (hence the two holes on the back of the unit).
Fully functional and still sounding sweet.” Link

tb303 “The perfect 303! This thing is a beauty and only letting go due to financial needs right now. I originally bought it from one owner who barely used it…..the knobs are PERFECT. I then sent it out to a guy named Colin Fraser who enhanced the bass frequencies, serviced it, and added midi functionality through his MIDIBASS 303 unit. (http://www.colinfraser.com/mb303/). Colin even told me that the 303 I sent was in incredible condition. The pots have no wear on them! You can make them out somewhat in the picture. Also, the battery compartment is also clean….and I have the original Roland carrying bag and power supply..even the manual! The manual is the only thing that shows its age a bit. Anyways, it is all ready to go with MIDI converters included so you can just attach your midi keyboard and it is off and running. To simplify what the MIDIBASS 303 does is that it sends midi note data out and accepts midi note data. One of the best things to do is to create a pattern and then set something to record the midi notes from the 303…like a workstation or DAW…then you can play them back out through the 303. It is very simple and provides that killer bass sound with the simplicity and ease of MIDI.” Link

Not only does this particular unit work perfectly, but it has even been modified so that you can control several parameters through a midi controller! That means you are no longer a slave to the internal step sequencer or external drum machine. Either use it as was like a standard 303 or connect a midi-CV converter (such as a Kenton) and run it through your computer sequencing program (Logic etc.) and you can play the 303 freely with your full sized keyboard like it was any other midi keyboard. Record midi notes and even accent, filter, and slide information. Play it back through your sequencer and listen to your box get down! This unit has some cosmetic scratches and discoloration, but has all original knobs and sounds perfect!” Link tb303-2

tb303 “The Roland TB-303 Bass Line is a synthesizer with built-in sequencer manufactured by the Roland corporation from 1982 to 1984 that had a defining role in the development of contemporary electronic music.

The TB-303 (named for “Transistor Bass”) was originally marketed to guitarists for bass accompaniment while practicing alone. Production lasted approximately 18 months, resulting in only 10,000 units. It was not until the mid- to late-1980s that DJs and electronic musicians in Chicago found a use for the machine in the context of the newly developing house music genre.

I am selling this unit for a friend. He is the original owner. It has been used very sparingly over the years and works perfectly. If you have any questions or would like more pictures please let me know and will be happy to assist you.” Link

tb3032 “This TB-303 has been in my hands for 20 years. I am the second owner. It has been used and maintained by myself.

There are no battery acid stains and the battery hatch plate is present and functional.

The buttons are all working simply because I have been replacing them as they crap out. Anyone who tells you that their TB-303 is “all original” and working perfectly is full of crap. The original switches failed with very little use and virtually no original TB-303 is trouble free. I have replaced all of the original buttons with new ALPS switches. This is just part of keeping the machine working as a musical instrument.

The Roland “Disco Bag” is from a badly acid damaged TR-606. It has been soaked for 24 hours in a bath of baking soda so that no acid remains, however on the inner part of the bag a crappy bown stain remains. There is no getting rid of it.

The case has some small scratches and bumps from the years of use. Check out the many photographs and see for yourself.

For some reason, in a repair done in 2004, I changed out the RUN, PITCH and TIME leds for blue ones. It looks really neat. Thats really the only reason.

This auction includes real, original schematics from Roland. These are not the photo copies one finds all over the place, they are actually printed on large paper with some colour to boot. They are legible unlike the photocopied ones and very very rare. I also include the common photo copied schematics. The original schematics were ordered from Roland and I had to pay money for them.

The original (not photocopied) manual and quick start card are also included.

There are no mods to the sound or the functioning of this unit.” Link

“Most likely you already know a thing or two about this wonderful little gem. I acquired it just over a year ago but never really have spent the time learning the device and experimenting with it’s sound. The unit comes with the original Boss model ACA-120 power adaptor and a printed copy of the original owner’s manual (original packaging and storage bag unavailable). Functionality: all knobs, buttons, switches, and lights are fully functional and have been tested at the time of this listing however the unit has not had a recent professional evaluation or restoration that I am aware of (none should be necessary). The battery compartment is in excellent condition and the unit will function on battery power (4 X 1.5V cells).

Cosmetically speaking, the device is in very good condition. There are no visible signs of wear on the fron panel (unless you look very closely you might notice the normal wear marks around the dials however they are so minor it’s hardly worth mentioning). There are some light scratches on the bottom side of the case – yet even for a perfectionist such as myself I did not find these to be unsightly – nothing more than a few minor blemishes. There is a very small chip in the exterior (lower left side corner) where the top and bottom sections meet (see photo). I would rate it’s condition 9/10 and say that it might be quite hard to find a 303 that looks this good cosmetically speaking. All of the character letters and symbols are perfectly in tact – no fading or loss of ink anywhere.” Link

Has been stored on a shelf since, in a non-smoking environment with batteries removed. I tested it with batteries before listing and it worked fine. The battery compartment is clean never any leakage. I have not been able to fine my manual, but you can download one on line. The serial number on this one is 142200. Comes with carrying case. This is all original NO modifications of any kind. All knobs and switches and jacks solid, smooth and tight. Batteries not included, and will be removed before shipping.” Link

“The Tb-303 is responsible for the well-known “acid” sound, which is typically produced by playing a repeating note pattern, while altering the filter’s cutoff frequency, resonance, and envelope modulation. The machine’s accent control has the ability to modify a note’s volume, filter resonance, and envelope modulation, thereby allowing further variations in timbre. There were a mere 10,000 units ever produced by Roland, between 1982 and 1984. This unit is in great cosmetic condition, no dents or dings, just one minor scuff mark on the back panel. It is 100% functional (all buttons, knobs and switches work perfectly and have no damage). The original Roland carrying case, along with the power supply will come included with this machine. This machine also has the option to be used with battery power, making a great companion for recording on the go. This is a great buy! These machines are rare, and this one is in excellent working and physical condition. ” Link

“Up for auction is my Roland TB-303. This 303 is full functional on batteries or AC, and sounds great. I have been using it with a SBX-10 to sync with Live, and it works great!

Comes with original bag and Boss PSA-120 power adapter. All buttons have recently been replaced and feel nice.

Now – for full disclosure:

1. There are some thin scratches on the front panel as you can see in the photos (by the Roland logo, and by the volume knob)

2. At some point in this 303’s life, there was a repair done to the main PCB. I looks like it was cracked (near the volume knob), and the tech repaired the traces using jumper cables (see photo). This does not affect operation at all (I didn’t even know for 2 years after I purchased it from a guy in the UK). I had my tech look at it, and he said who ever did the fix did a good job, and he could find no faults at all.

I can supply MP3’s of this 303 in action, YouTube video is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py79FwAw9Qg

I have done my best to describe the condition of this 303 to the best of my knowledge, and due to the age of this vintage unit, it is sold “as is”.” Link
