Wie man auf den Fotos sehen kann gab es keinen Batteriesäureschaden, das Batteriefach ist sauber.
Die Taster reagieren dem Alter entsprechend, hin und wieder kommt es zu Prellern.
Die Potis funktionieren einwandfrei ohne Störgeräusche, lediglich der Volume Poti knistert etwas beim verstellen,
was aber nicht stört, da man daran ja normalerweise nicht dreht.” Link

“he TB-303 (short for “Transistorized Bass”) was originally marketed to guitarists for bass accompaniment while practising alone. Production lasted approximately 18 months, resulting in only 10,000 units. It was not until the mid- to late-1980s that DJs and electronic musicians in Chicago found a use for the machine in the context of the newly developing house music genre.
This TB303 is in great used working condition and comes with the original soft case which sells separately for around $250. No cracks or anything in the case. There is slight wear around some of the knobs. This synth has been kept in carefully in temperature controlled rooms.

“This is a great working TB-303. The custom made MIDI to din sync converter makes it very easy and fun to use with a computer DAW. The tb-303 syncs up great. Everything is in working order and the sound is that of the classic TB-303. It has wear and tear on it. There is one picture of the corner and you can see there is a bit of a crack on it, but besides any cosmetic issues the synthesizer works great. I am a musician and i use it for its classic sounds so i never really cared that it wasn’t in perfect cosmetic condition. TB-303 that has a great sync box that comes with it than you are in luck. The headboard is loose so i taped it up but all it needs is a bit of superglue to hold it down. The only reason that i didn’t fix it is because i dont feel comfortable fixing any problem that a tb-303 might have it is just to precious and i would rather have a professional work on it, furthermore i use it for its sounds and i dont really mind the tape on it. There is also a mod that was done to that makes it so you can program it and hear the notes while the din sync/midi cable is hooked into it. The serial number is 142200.” Link

I HAVE OWNED THIS FOR ABOUT 12 YEARS AND PAID A LOT IT BACK THEN. BUT I HAVEN’T USED IT A GREAT DEAL AND FEEL IT’S A BIT OF WASTE, PLUS THE CASH WOULD BE NICE.
I HAVE JUST TESTED IT WITH BATTERIES AND MAINS, AND IT IS ALL WORKING FINE.
WOW I’D FORGOTTEN WHAT A GREAT MACHINE IT IS, WITH A LITTLE TWEEKING OF THE CONTROL KNOBS I WAS PRODUCING SOME FINE ACID SOUNDS. I HAD TO STOP OTHERWISE I WOULD TALK MYSELF OUT OF SELLING IT.

THE OWNER’S MANUAL IS A LITTLE DOG EARED ON THE CORNERS WITH A FEW MINOR MARKS AND SOME CREASING ALONG THE SPINE WHERE IT HAS BEEN OPENED.
THE CARRY CASE LOOKS A LITTLE DIRTY, BUT IT’S MINOR, AND WITH THE CORRECT CLEANING PRODUCT COULD LOOK NEW, THERE ARE 4 BLACK MARKS TO THE UNDERSIDE WHERE THE FEET PROTRUDE (THIS IS UNAVOIDABLE). THE INSIDE OF THE CASE HAS SOME DIRTY MARKS CAUSED BY CONTACT WITH THE MACHINE. THERE IS A 1MM X 5MM INDENTATION OR SCRAPE TO ONE OF THE SIDE PANELS OF THE CASE.
ON THE SEAM OF THE CARRY CASE WHERE THE TOP FLAP OPENS TO EXPOSE THE MACHINE, THERE IS A TINY METAL PIECE THAT IS FOLDED OVER THE SEAM, I ASSUME THIS IS TO HELP REINFORCE THE SEAM AT THIS POINT. THIS IS ONLY ON ONE SIDE, THE OTHER HAS FALLEN OFF AT SOME POINT.
TO THE TOP SIDE OF THE MACHINE THERE ARE A FEW MINOR DIRTY MARKS, MAYBE THE ODD TINY SCRATCH OR MARK.
SOME OF THE CORNERS, EDGES AND THE FEET THE GREY PAINT HAS WORN OFF, THIS IS VERY SLIGHT. CAUSE BY TAKING THE MACHINE IN AND OUT OF THE CASE.
AROUND THE SIDES THERE ARE A FEW MARKS AND SCRATCHES, THE WORST AREA IS THE BACK WHERE THE CONNECTORS/POWER SUPPLY ARE PLUGGED IN. ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE PANEL FRONT CORNER THERE IS A HAIRLINE CRACK OR CASTING FAULT ABOUT 15MM LONG, THIS IS BY THE JOIN WHERE THE TOP SECTION OF THE MACHINE MEETS THE BOTTOM SECTION. THERE IS ANOTHER ON THE BACK BY THE DC 9V, THIS ONE IS LESS THAN 10MM.
THERE SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE CORROSION ON THE OUTPUT TERMINAL, THIS COULD BE CAREFULLY CLEANED UP. THIS DOESN’T EFFECT THE OUTPUT.
PLEASE DON’T BE ALARMED THIS IS A VERY TIDY MACHINE, IT’S NEARLY 30 YEARS OLD AND LOOKS LIKE IT HAS HAD VERY LITTLE USE OVER THAT TIME. WHOEVER BUYS THIS IS GOING TO BE PARTING WITH A LOT OF MONEY AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MACHINE AND BE TOTALLY HAPPY. ” Link

It creates an acid style liquid sound that has made the Bass Line an essential commodity for many DJ’s in the house, techno, and electro scene. It ideally is used alongside the Roland TR-606 Drumatix (see my other auctions), but is not limited to this by any means. This particular unit is in excellent condition. “Selling my gently used TB303. I purchased this TB303 from a studio head who had many vintage gear items in double, triples and quadruples. This TB303 was rarely used prior to me, and I used it sparingly. The battery compartment has no battery damage at all.
The body of the TB has some marks and paint wear. It has some paint missing on the front and back of the body. It sat in it’s bag for some time in the box in which the paint got stuck to the bag and strap. Overall, the knobs are tight and like new.

TB 303 Bass Line: It is in good condition and has been in my possession since 1994. Comes with original manual (except for the cover page which is a photocopy) and all keys, knobs, buttons and lights are fully functional. Some of the buttons can be sticky but definitely in working order. You just have to be quite patient with it, after all it’s almost 30 years old! Batteries are also working fine, no leaks whatsoever. Unfortunately I don’t have an adaptor for it but you can get one for £5 from Maplin Electronics.

“downloaded the manual from the roland site and was able to get to a basic start point. i was able to test all the notes to make sure they made sounds, and they did. also, the transpose button worked correctly, changing the pitch of each note. I will also throw in the manual to help you get started. All the freq, resonance, env mod knobs are working correctly as well. Also, added a bunch more pics showing the lights working. I did not program any new patterns into the machine, but there are a few preset patterns already in it that made various loops. It also does not come w/ an adapter. I have adjusted the shipping prices slightly as well. It’s bubble wrapped to the extreme, boxed up and ready to go!
up for auction is a vintage roland tb-303 bass line. extremely rare item. i purchased this about 20 years ago at a yard sale and have sadly decided to part with it.
cosmetically, the unit is in good shape. the front looks very nice and sides have a few scrapes/blemishes, but not too bad at all. the back of the unit is a little rough with some discoloring and some sharpie residue. this does not affect playability at all.
i bought new batteries to test it today, but it didn’t seem to run, BUT, when i used a power adapter, it played fine. i also plugged it in through an amp, and it did make sounds too, so it seems to be working fine. all the lights light up when pressed.
this is partly why i am selling the thing…could never really figure it out. unfortunately, the unit does not come with the box.” Link

Die 303 besitzt einen zusätzlichen CV, Gate und VCF Anschluss. An der linken Seite ist das Gehäuse etwas beschädigt, was aber keinen Einfluss auf die Funktion hat. (Siehe Foto). An den oberen Potis fehlt etwas die Farbe aber das Teil ist ja fast 30 Jahre alt .

“ROLAND TB-303 Computer Controlled BASS LINE with Roland Carry Case and Owners Manual
Bidding is for my Roland TB-303 which I bought new around the mid 1980′s from Rose Morris when they had a store in Shaftesbury Avenue in London It was used for 3 demos and then subsequently put away in the cupboard until now. It has never been gigged.
It is in excellent condition tho’ the inside of the carry case does show signs of fading of the interior material. There is also some very minor cosmetic wear/scratches to the underside of the unit which I have shown in the photos. Unfortunately I appear to have lost the power supply unit (PSU) although these can be bought cheaply elsewhere here on eBay. The TB-303 runs on either 6V (4×1.5v batteries) or a 9V AC Adaptor. The current drain being 80mA (minimum) / 120mA (maximum). I have tried it with batteries and it is all fully operational.
The rotary knobs, selector dials, keys buttons and pots are all nice and tight having seen very little use. The battery compartment is very clean (should have taken a photo of it but forgot). This was used as I said for 3 demos which was long before knob twiddling came into fashion. It has remained stored away for about 25 years.
It has had no modifications and is in original condition.” Link

The switches will need to be replaced sooner than later
I replaced the red LEDs with flat blue LEDs, and in doing this, i took a couple of the pads with them. I had to jumper them to the corresponding IC pins that power them. One worked, one didn’t. Probably hit the wrong pin. It never bothered me, so i never fixed it.
The Blue LEDs are bright, but not super bright. I replaced the Resonance Pot not too long ago, so that is all nice and new. I will include the rest of the replacement pots as well with the sale. There is minimal wear around the knobs. I will also include the original manual (in VERY good condition), original power supply and silver bag. ” Link

“Selling of my Roland Tb 303, it was just serviced this past month and everything is working smoothly. This 303 is very clean and I would give it about an 8.5 out of 10. The only cosmetic issues are a few scratches on the bottom (which is practically inevitable) and a few miniscule smudges on the front. The 303 also works great as a sequencer as shown in the demo video I made of it. All functions work perfectly on the 303 and it locks in to DIN sync perfectly (as shown in video). Included in the auction is the 303 itself, the original carrying case (also in very good condition), the original owner’s manual also in very good condition for its age with no writing on/in it! I will also include a brand new roland power supply with the auction (303′s can either run off of batteries or a power supply), this 303 also runs perfectly off of batteries alone.” Link

The machine is in full working order, but of course showing some signs of age (esp. around the cutoff pot, heh). The machine has been modified with the Kenton CV kit which means that you can trigger the 303 _completely_ from a sequencer. You do need a Kenton MIDI to CV box though, but I’ll throw in the cable required to do this. Of course you could do this from any other source since they’re normal trigger/CV signals.” Link

“Up for sale here is an unmodified Roland TB-303 in excellent condition which I’ve enjoyed owning and using over the last 5 years. This unit is in excellent condition without any significant wear; the only slight blemish of note is a tiny disfiguration of the letter ‘F’ of the ‘Fast’ decal around the tempo knob which I’ve tried to show in the photos. Otherwise, the machine is perfectly presented and functions flawlessly. There’s practically no wear around any of the controls which bears testiment to the careful way the machine has been used. Each pot is tight, every button positive without any double triggering or bounce. The sound is awesome. It has been used in a semi-pro home studio, i.e. well looked after in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment over the last 5 years. The whole box of this unit has been painted black for a more classic look, I hate having to sell 2 out of 3 units I own with the same mod all of them but I need money to fund some other expenses around my studio.
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST MODIFICATIONS I HAVE TRIED FOR THESE FUNKY ACID BOOGIE BOXES, I HAVE OWNED 3 OTHER 303′S WITH OTHER POPULAR BUT DIFFERENT MODS ( I WON’T MENTION WHICH ONES JUST NOT TO GET PEOPLE GOING ABOUT IT…) AND YES THEY WERE COOL BUT NOT AS COMPLETE, INTUITIVE OR VERSATILE AS THE ACIDLAB MODS ARE; WHEN YOU LEARN TO USE IT’S MODULAR FEATURES THROUGH THE INS AND OUTS IN THE BACK OF THE UNIT WITH CONJUNCTION OF THE FRONT PANEL FEATURES AS WELL THEN YOU’LL UNDERSTAND WHY… NO NEED TO MENTION THAT WHEN YOU HEAR THE DIFFERENCE IN TEXTURES AND THE VAST RANGES OF SOUNDS THAT CAN BE PRODUCED WITH THIS UNIT YOU’LL NEVER WANT ANOTHER SYNTH WITHING THIS RANGE. WHY..??
BECAUSE WITH ALL IT’S ALEATORY CAPABILITIES GOING FROM ANY EXTERNAL CV SOURCE INTO THE UNIT OR YOU CAN ROUTE IT’S OWN OUTPUTS BACK INTO THE INS AND YOU CAN COME UP WITH ALL KINDS OF REALLY UNIQUE EFFECTS AND SOUNDS THAT VERY FEW OTHER SYNTHS CAN PRODUCE… NOW WITH THESE MODS NO ONE CAN SAY THAT THE TB-303 CAN ONLY PRODUCE ACID SOUNDS, AS A MATTER OF FACT I PRODUCE MY HEAVIEST BASSLINES WITH IT AND BELIEVE ME IT SOUNDS FATTER AND FULLER THAN A LOT OF MY MULTIPLE VOICES SYNTHESIZERS… AS WITH MANY SYNTHESIZERS WHEN YOU ADD MORE VOICES OR (OSCILLATORS) TO PRODUCE A FATTER SOUND, THERE’S THE BY PRODUCT OF CANCELLATION OF SOME FREQUENCIES AND HERE’S NOT THE CASE WITH THIS SINGLE OSCILLATOR THAT TWEAKED UP A CERTAIN WAY AND WITH IT’S ADDED OVERDRIVE IT JUST RUMBLES THE *$#^ OUT OF MY STUDIO…
ANOTHER POINT I’D LIKE TO MENTION IS THAT THE MODS ON THIS UNIT HAVE BEEN DONE PROPERLY, WHY I MENTION THIS..?? BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE ATTEMPT TO DO THIS MODS THEMSELVES AND FAIL TO BECAUSE IT IS A BIT COMPLICATED AND REQUIRES A LOT OF UNDERSTANDING IN ELECTRONICS. ALSO THE WAY THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE LAID OUT MAKES IT A BIT CONFUSING SINCE A LOT OF PARTS GO TO A SAME COMMON POINT AND MAKES A MESSY SPAGHETTI JOB WHICH CAN IN TURN OBSTRUCT THE CLOSING OF THE UNIT AND AT THE SAME TIME DAMAGE OTHER SECTIONS BUT ALL THIS HAS BEEN SIMPLIFIED BY MY ELECTRONIC ENGINEER TECHNICIAN WHO STUDIED THESE MODS WELL BEFORE DOING IT AND FOUND A CLEANER WAY OF DOING IT… BASICALLY IT HAS BEEN DONE THE RIGHT WAY BY A PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN WITH 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE AND ALL THE MODS ARE GUARANTEED TO WORK…
I HAVE SEEN MANY OTHER 303′S WHERE PEOPLE NEVER EVEN USE THE INPUT & OUTPUTS JUST BECAUSE THEY NEVER GOT THE POINT, GOT LAZY, GAVE UP, OR GOT SATISFIED WITH JUST THE TOP PANEL MODS… AND I HAVE ALSO SEEN MANY 303′S WHERE THEY EITHER GOT CONFUSED ABOUT WHERE EXACTLY PUT THE RIGHT POINTS AND HAVE DAMAGED THE UNIT… WITH THIS UNIT YOU GET ALL OF THE MODS PROPERLY DONE PLUS MY TECH’S SPECIAL TWEAK AND FINE TUNING… ALSO THIS UNIT HAS ALL NEW TACTILE PUSH BUTTONS,
