“Siel Mono – an Italian Monosynth from the early 80’s. Siel were in partnership with ARP and some of the Siel range were also badged as ARP such as the Quartet. I have had a couple of these Monos and this is by far the best example I have ever seen – see pictures for condition. There is no rust – which is common on these – and all button caps are present. All sliders, switches and lights work. This one has a rare volume pedal with it that fits the din style socket on the back. This one also still has the back legs to tilt it up – these are often missing on these synths. It can do a good impression of a Moog, fantastic basslines, lovely Pink Floyd horn synths and nasty leads. Still has original Owner’s Manual and Schematics which show it has been cared for. ” Link
“In good working condition with flight case, heavy, would prefer collection but will ship.” Link
“Quick sale required on this lovely Siel Mono synthesizer. It produces a fat, Moog type bass, has a great noise generator, and the resonance really screams! It comes with a manual printed off the internet. The main volume and resonance sliders need attention as they are worn and tend to cut out when pushed right to the top, but with some minor work and some electrical cleaner, this vintage piece of kit should come up a treat. One slider cap has been replaced. ” Link
All good working order just missing lever on a rotator,” Link
If you search up siel mono on google you will see videos and information.
A lot of people like it for it’s character. The filter screams when you want it to and you can mix low cut with high and band it’s pritty interesting.
There are presets but you can turn them off by pressing the free mode.
Also there is a built in chorus which is massive sounding.
Also the delayed lfo response is something you don’t see on many synths of this era. You can select how long you want the delay of the lfo to come in from when the key is triggered making some really cool vibrato and cut off effects.
Some pots are a little bit crackly and a couple of pot knobs are missing but all in all very functional.
The pitch wheel broke and replaced with a screw works fine though. Along with bits of paint on the synth on some knobs and in places like the pitch bending control surface. Not sure why the paint is there. Guess someone’s kid got to it. But it doesn’t bother me.
You can get some really cool bass lines and the envelope generator is really plucky if you want it to be. All in all a good synth! Seems a shame to see it go but I don’t have room for analog synths anymore.” Link
“Beschreibung und Test: Für das Alter ist der Synthi im
optisch gutem Zustand, normale Spuren/Gebrauchsspuren.
fehlen. Unten sind noch zwei Stellfüße zum hochklappen.” Link

It’s about 31 years old, very good condition, plays just as it should, a bit of crackle on volume but nothing to worry about. This was, I believe, Siel’s answer to the minimoog. ” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
