“Today I am auctioning off my Roland SH-1 Analog Monosynth. It sounds fantastic and works great! It has some knicks here and there, the original knobs had to be replaced, it has some wear, plus the metal tip fell off of the switch for the “KYBD – CV/GATE” stick but it still can be switched using a pen tip (it’s not something you’d have to fiddle with much anyways), but the synth feels solid to play and all of the sliders were replaced recently. It is their first real monosynth so it’s old! This synth has many more facilities than most monosynths of that time, including two fully-functional envelopes, external input (for processing guitar, vocals, other synths, drums, anything) AND external envelope follower, autobend, etc. It really nails that 70′s thick tone, much more-so than other more famous Rolands like the SH-101, 303, etc. This one is pretty hard to find, pick it up while you can.” Link
“Up for grabs is a mint Roland Sh-1 Vintage synthesizer…it looks good and sounds great. This item has no scratches or damage marks. Hate to part with it, but need the extra cash for school.” Link
WORKING 100% TESTED” Link
“Selling an SH-1 Synth, technically nearly everthing is working but really not like it would be factory new
you can use it for making music, the oscs are stable, but most faders are hard to move, but still working…
maybe not all functions are working, i did it not test so deep… the power supply is not original
all osc are working, that for sure, and the bass is BIG with using the sub osc! sounds different than an sh-101
Its a monophone synth nice for bass and lead… MIDI capable if you have a CV GATE interface…. with power cable 220V” Link
“This listing is for a Roland SH-1 vintage analog synthesizer. The unit is 100% functional and in nice cosmetic condition as well.” Link
“Roland SH1 Synth in near mint condition inside and out–best example I have even seen. its the 240V version for Australia, UK and Europe
SH1 is quite special compared to the other Roland Mono synths as it uses the same parts and filter as the Roland System 700 modular system” Link

“HI AM SELLING THIS ROLAND SH-1. . THIS IS ” SPARES OR REPAIR” ONLY, IT DOES WORK BUT NOT AS I REMEMBER ,IT IS IN FINE CONDITION NOT A LOT OF WEAR AND TEAR AND ALL THE KNOBS AND LEVERS ARE OK AND MOVE FINE, IT HAS BEEN IN A SUIT CASE FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS, THE ONLY THING IS THE BENDER STICK HAS BOKE OFF ALTHOUGH IT STILL BENDS??, …I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT MAY NEED RESOLDERING ON THE CIRCUITS AS THE SOLDER MAY HAVE DRYED AND CRACKED AND ITS THAT THAT MAY BE THE PROBLEM BUT IM NO ENGINEER SO ITS UP TO YOU??? I HAVE OWNED THIS FROM NEW SO ITS ABOUT 31 YEARS OLD OR SO??” Link
“I’m the third owner of this pristine vintage synth. It’s monophonic and creates some great bass tones for sampling. The 2nd owner bought it from an auction at his high school. He had it for 14 years and never played it. It has been kept very clean. No dust, no damp. There is very minimal patchy/scratchy sounds from the natural carbon build up. The one quirk is that it is missing the slider cap on the time function of the autobend. You can see this in the first picture. Easily adaptable to MIDI. This is a vintage classic.” Link
“In VERY good cosmetic condition and 100% working order, please requst more pictures to see details.

“ROLAND SH-1 (built in 1978) This is a one-owner analog, 1 voice synthesizer. I purchased my SH-1 in 1979. This line is among the first of Roland’s revolutionary SH line of synthesizers. The SH-1 analog monophonic synthesizer has one VCO plus one sub-oscillator provide you with simple but great analog basses, leads and effects. The VCO can be tuned over a 5 octave range (2′, 4′, 8′, 16′, 32′) with saw, square and pulse waveforms. A squelchy VCF filter section, plenty of LFO modulation capabilities and an Auto-bend portamento type effect. The VCF, VCA and LFO sections have adequate and flexible controls and can modulate or affect each other in some way just as on the other similar SH-type synths. The only blemish is a chip in the bender that can be seen in a photo. Since the SH-1 does not feature an on-board sequencer or arpeggiator, I also purchased the Roland CSQ-100, a microcomputer-controlled digital CV/gate Sequencer. It can only play one sequence at a time. Sequences can be recorded via an external CV/gate input or using step-time. Portamento cannot be programmed, but is adjusted manually as a sequence is being played. Sequences can be saved and loaded via cassette interface. This sequencer is very capable and simple to use with Roland SH-1. Like the SH-1, this unit has pretty low mileage considering its vintage and is still in near mint condition!!” Link
