“Here for sale is a very nice vintage Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 Synth. The unit is in excellent condition with just a little wear and tear on the the wood sides and a few scrapes on the bottom and case. We bought the synth at an estate sale and have reason to believe that it sat unused for most of it’s life. A few of the pots were a bit scratchy when we got it but when they were rotated a few times they worked out just fine. They all work well and should not need to be replaced though a thorough cleaning might be recommended. All the keys work perfectly except the lowest C# which sticks a bit. The key does make sound but does not fire off every time it’s pressed. All the membrane buttons work perfectly. There are 2 machine screws missing from the sides. This Prophet 600 has the original factory presets.” Link
“Hello
This auction is for a Sequential Circuits Split 8 synthesizer in nice condition
This Split-8 synthesizer has been used in our personal studio.
All the buttons, keys and voices work nicely and the patches sound wonderfully warm and vintage.
It’s easy to layer patches and it sounds so fat, lush, and overall incredible especially when played at 2 VCO’s per voice.
Cosmetically there are some areas to take note of. There is some visible rust in areas where the paint has chipped and a larger area of rust that is under the right side of the keybed (see photo). The left endcheek has a split in the wood that goes all the way across and through but it still feels like it’s held on there. The paint on the endcheeks has worn off at the edges. The keys have accumulated some light scratches over the years that is typical of a synthesizer of this age.
Other than the cosmetic flaws noted, this Split-8 is in good shape and appears to have been cared for despite a period of neglect.
It still looks good in my opinion however you can carefully view the photos to get a good idea and judge for yourself.” Link
“This is a vintage synth from the late 70′s-early 80′s; few have survived in this condition. Everything works fine on it electronically,(tuning/calibration is very good), and as you can see from the photos, it’s in near mint condition cosmetiucally. I’d give it a solid 9.5 out of 10. It is a rev 3.2, one of the later versions of the Prophet 5,which has the full 120 program memory. (Earlier versions had only 40 pre-sets.) The Prophet 5 was used on thousands of recordings when it was current, as it was state of the art at the time. It is still prized for it’s warm analog sound, and will hold it’s value well as it is collectable. The only modification ever done to this was adding MIDI, which was done either by Wine Country or the factory- I’m not sure which, as I’m not the original owner. It is very limited MIDI implementation however- crude by today’s standards, as it controls few parameters. Still, it might be a useful feature. This synth has been lovingly well maintained for many years…the only issue at all with this instrument is that the key bushings are worn due to age. These are just made of rubber and they do degrade over time, causing a clickety-clackety sound when you play the keys. The good news is that this is an easy repair (routine maintenance really, more than a repair) and the bushings are readily available.” Link
“The unit is in very good cosmetic condition and fully functional. The unit works with the exception of 4 channels, these channels jold random notes instead of programmed sequences. The item will be professionally packed and shipped. ” Link
‘The synth is in outstanding condition. As clean as you would wish to find. Apart from a couple of small marks on the side panel and on the base of the unit, its superb.
The front panel is super clean: all the printing is bright and crisp, all knobs are clean and free of marks, no scratches or scuffs to the mouldings.
It has been been serviced last month, which included calibration, replacing the keyboard bushings and cleaning the buss bars (this is the J wire version), so is in great working condition.
All keys, knobs, switches and buttons are original and function correctly.” Link
“This listing is for a Sequential Circuits Pro One vintage analog synthesizer! Fully working and in Excellent cosmetic condition!” Link
“Kult Gerät im guten Zustand! Gerät wurde in unserer Werkstatt komplett überholt !!
Ebay Gebühren trägt der Verkäufer, Versandkosten trägt der Käufer. ” Link
“Voll funktionierender Prophet 600, das Gehäuse sieht zwar sehr vintage (Gebrauchsspuren) aus aber wie gesagt alles funktioniert , auch die Folientaster usw.
Er hat 6 stimmen, sequencer, arpeggio, ein super filter und mit der polymod können auch ganz abgefahrerne fx gemacht werden.
klingt auf jeden fall deutlich analoger als die neuen DSI sachen ” Link
“I’ve owned this awesome synth for the last 15 years and gutted to have to sell. She’s in great working order and always delivers incredible sounds!
I work primarily as a mixer nowadays so doesn’t get much use. Will be sad to see her go but need funds for studio upgrade. ” Link
“This Pro One is in great condition, we’ve had it for over 20 years and it has featured on all of our 6 albums. It comes with the original manual as well as a home made flight case. Sad to see it go but we hope the new owner will have as much pleasure out of it as we have
There is a very slight chip on the wooded side panel top right, which doesn’t effect its performance order on anyway.” Link
“I recently bought two Multi-Traks in one auction. I have repaired both units and am selling the newer one. This unit came to me with a power supply problem
which has been fixed.
Here is what I have done to it in the last month or so:
1) Replaced all four damaged rectifier diodes in the power supply.
2) Replaced both large electrolytic caps in the power supply with new parts.
3) Found “battery drain” mod, documented on the web, and applied it.
(Battery off current before mod: 220 uA, after mod ~ 1 uA)
4) Bought new 3V Lithium battery identical to original one, and installed it
5) Designed and built replacement 15VAC power supply using new components (in photo)
6) Found MIDI sysex file of “Factory A” programs (random order) on the web – modified
it to make “Factory B” programs (sounds arranged in groups) and saved it. Unit
contains this currently, but I can download “Factory A” if buyer prefers.
7) Sprayed control cleaner into all potentiometers.
8) Slid “key press stop felt” sideways a little so that keys hit uncompressed places.
9) Cleaned front panel and touched up a few flat black paint areas on rear top edge
10) Copied code EPROM contents into newer EPROM to protect against EPROM “bit rot”
(old EPROM is fine and is included in the auction as a spare)
11) Made real wood (cherry) end panels and installed them.
As far as I know everything is working properly. There are a few small things to mention: The paint on the front panel word “CONTROL” is scratched. There is a small rust spot just to the left of “PROGRAM/PARAMETER”. There are some very small rust spots on top edge of the back panel, and screws that hold the back panel have some rust on them. Also the master tune knob has some scratches on the top. Several of the pushbutton switches might need an extra press every now and then to register, but this may improve with use. For a unit from the 80′s it’s in pretty good shape, I think. ” Link

” Hello and welcome to this auction. I am a home studio hobbyist and am putting up for sale some of my favorite pieces of gear. Please check my other auctions for nice vintage synthesizers and recording equipment. All my gear is well cared for, lightly used and kept in my smoke free dust free home studio. I haven’t gigged with any of my equipment.
For sale here is a Prophet VS rack. These racks are very rare, not many are still in existence and working. This one is a great shape, you can still easily read the LCD screen. It is fully functional. It has one mod: the slider cap was replaced with a more easily moveable rubber slider cap, to prevent it from breaking off. The original cap tended to be more difficult to use and would break frequently. I do have the original cap as well, so that will be included. Included in this auction is the Prophet VS rack, original manual, power cable, and RAM catridge model 240 to save and load patches. These RAM cartridges are also quite rare. The VS is an amazing ambient soundtrack sculpting tool, nothing sounds like it. One of my favorite vintage synths. I still have the keyboard version so I decided to put this one up for sale.” Link
” Prophet 600 recently serviced by Damir Rogina. Complete and in full working order. Comes with an orange custom flight case!” Link
” Vintage Sequential Circuits Pro-One in extremely clean condition and working! This is a more sought after J-wire version. Selling because I have another Pro-One. ” Link
” great sequential circuits pro one. J wire model. Recently serviced and calibrated. all original pots and switches, recently cleaned. New Bushings in the keyboard. I always liked the super fat punchy sound of these.
Condition:
great physical condition. one small chip on the bottom back corner of the wood endcap. This is fairly common on these models. it may have a few scuffs or small dings in the paint of the bottom or back metal parts of the case. Great care was taken to keep this keyboard all original. The bushings on the pratt and reed keyboard had to be done as is with most old synthesizers.
Note on condition of this item:
This item was touch up cleaned with a damp cloth only before the pictures were taken. It was not slathered in wood polish and armour-all car polish in an attempt to make it look better than it actually is.
Disclosure:
Vintage synthesizers are the ultimate in sound quality and character. This keyboard sounds great. Do not expect a brand new keyboard, expect a vintage synthesizer that will require standard maintenance, proper storage, and proper use to keep it running over the years. I’ve done my absolute best to describe the condition of this item. There should be no surprises here, but i have to list the item as-is because of previous experiences with details in listings. It is important that the purchaser of this item understands that generally vintage instruments may have some quirks, but provide a sound that is not able to be imitated even by the modern analog versions of these keyboards.” Link
“Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Keyboard. Rev 3.2 with MIDI.
Vintage excellent condition. All switches and knobs cleaned and fully functional. Owners manual, service manual and original cassette with all factory programs included.
Restored by Wine Country, rebuilt/upgraded power supply and removable IEC power cable connector. Extremely stable tuning and intonation.” Link
“VINTAGE SEQUENTIAL CIRCUITS PROPHET 600 !!!
THIS SYNTH IS IN AMAZING CONDITION AND WORKS PERFECTLY. IT’S A CLEAN, FAT, ANALOG MACHINE!!! IT COMES COMPLETE WITH CUSTOM FIT CASE, MANUAL, AND ORIGINAL SUSTAIN/HOLD PEDAL (NEEDS WORK). THE CASE IS GREAT AND PROTECTS THE KEYBOARD WELL, IT’S A BIT ON THE HEAVY SIDE.” Link
“The unit functions very well; however, there are a couple of minor issues to note. A piece of one of the side wood panels has broken off (see pictures). The panel itself is still attached and the unit is totally structurally sound. Also, the two screws on the front (side) panel are missing, so you can easily open the unit up to see the circuitry inside (see attached pic); please note this and be careful when pickup up the unit. The DrumTraks can get hot near the power supply during extended/very long periods of continuous operation. I have no idea why this happens, but it doesn’t seem to affect the sound or function of the unit in a major way. The only thing is that the pattern storage memory does clear itself out once in a while. Not sure why this happens or if it’s related to the unit getting hot. Therefore, I’d recommend controlling this unit via external MIDI so that you get the classic sounds without relying on the classic memory function (that’s how I use it).” Link
“All pictures are of the actual item for sale. Includes hard case.
Chip on left side panel but otherwise looks nice and is 100% functional.” Link

The synth is in perfect working order and was serviced @ www.synthrestore.co.uk on 24/04/2013
There is one key missing at the high end of the keyboard but the synth has perfect working midi so this should not be a problem. This is also easily replaceable.

” Up for auction is a Sequential Circuits Max. It is NOT WORKING, please read carefully. The right end piece is broken, the high C key is missing, the high A and B keys are stuck together and there a few buttons missing as well. All this can be seen in the photos. The inside of the synth appears in tact. The unit powers on but I can’t hear any audio.
I bought this synth as a project but I haven’t gotten around to fixing it up. I’m letting this little piece of music history go so that hopefully someone else can put it to use. Having done some research it seems Wine Country would be the place to send this if you want a professional to repair it. Former SCI employees work there. They also sell the parts at a very reasonable price. The other option would be to use this synth for parts to repair another SCI synth.
If you are reading this you probably know the SCI Max shares the same six voices as its big brother the SCI Sixtrak. It was often used as a voice expander for the Sixtrak. There are editors available online to program this synth. There is a good YouTube video displaying this.
Included is a second hand power supply. I can also include a digital copy of the instruction manual and MIDI implementation manual. ” Link
“Vintage Sequential Circuits TOM Drum Machine and Midi Guide
Has original power supply – I put electrical tape around connector because the connector became separated from the wire insulation but the connection is still solid (see photo).
The back plastic corner is broken off (see photo).
The right output has very little signal but the left output is normal.” Link
“I am selling my Sequential Circuits Drum Traks that I got from a guy that was Prince’s Tech in the 80′s.And he said this drum traks was actually used by Prince in Paisley Park Studios. It comes with a copy of the Secret Function midi Guide and its the only I have ever found used by prince. In the midi guide it shows you how to use all the Secret functions that no other owners manual can teach you.( I can send you a copy the one I have has Prince hand writing in it.So I cant part) Also I have the midiguide From Wine Country. The Snare/side stick & Per1 are brand new. It works %100. The buttons for the tape save are Brand New. The LEDs work on it. The Left wood has a dent in it. You can order a new one for $15 at winecountryseqential.com. I just always kept it how I got it. It comes with TWO Operating Systems a 0.4 chip and a 0.5 chip. I dont want to part with this. But I have to. SO this is for serious buyers only.. no budget ballers.” Link
“Selling my Sequential Circuits Pro One Synthesizer. I am the original owner of this vintage and highly desired analog synth, having purchased it new in the early 1980s. It is in like new condition, having never left my home since its purchase. I am the only person who has ever played it and I used it to create recordings and for practice only. All keys, knobs and wheels work, as do the inputs/outputs on the back panel. Includes the original manual (pictured in this listing). When not in use, I have kept it in the original box (also pictured in this listing) which contains the original packing material. This unit will ship with the manual and in its original box. From the photos you will see that this synth has been well cared for and I am confident you will not find another in this condition and with so little, exclusively in-home, use. A legendary synthesizer for someone who is looking to both create new sounds and/or re-create the sounds of classic performers. ” Link

Not absolutely set on selling, but I’ve my eye on some vintage outboard analogue gear!” Link
“Produktinformationen:
Link
