The display is also great; the numbers and letters it displays are bright red as they should be. As you can see in the photos above there is a brownish mark on the top center of the unit. “Up for auction is the MKS 80 and MPG 80 in one auction. The MKS 80 was part of my home studio set up for many years but one day it did not power up. The MPG 80 is still in excellent condition with all of the knobs intact. Not really sure what is wrong with the MKS 80 but figure it might need one of the caps replaced but your guess is as good as mine. The serial number on the MKS 80 is 522122 making it a Rev 5 I believe. The serial number on the MPG 80 is 542134. These units were awsome sounding and are a really synth hounds dream. “This example is red. That means it is exceptionally rare. It works perfectly and was recently serviced by a very reputable engineer in the United Kingdom who has done a superb job on this beauty.
All the knobs and pots work well. Cosmetically this example is fair to poor. There is a very bad burn mark shown in one of the photos which has quite severely damaged the plastic front case area where the burn is. Please do be aware that this does not affect the function in any way at all. The function is still perfect. This burn mark was caused by the previous owner. We have looked after this synth exceptionally well. The rest of the bodywork of the synth looks pretty good but I have to call this the wrong side of fair, i.e. towards poor in fairness. Please don’t let this put you off. These are still rare and this is red and looks beautiful still despite the sad burn mark which is of course a disappointment.
This example does come with a power supply. However please note that the power supply is not a Roland original. It is a supply which has been tested to work with this synth and has been used for several months without any problem at all.” Link

I aquired this jupiter 8 from Pinewood studios in 2009 (yes where they make the james bond films) I could not believe the condition when I saw it,
Some scratches on the back over the roland name, and a small scratch on the right hand end plate.
But this did not put me off as all the sliders, nobs, etc, are solid and graphics like new.
I believe it has been used on various film & tv projects, (obviously) so yes it has a very interesting history behind it.
The original manual is still with it which is very rare, and also the manual for the midi set up.
The original dust cover is still with it but is torn at one end, I still use it, just put a bit of gaffer tape on it.
I love the jupiter, now I have used it on my own projects and they are completed, it’s time to find it another good home.

these are versatile little machines they have got two useful trigger outs it can slave or master sync24 , they are great for modding , the mods are really easy and really enhance the machine , if you do mod it don’t bother with the bass drum mod it’s difficult and it sounds really hollow not like an 808 at all and it’s difficult to reverse ,I speak from experience as I have another fully modded 606 otherwise the is no way I’d sell this it’s great !!!!
It works flawlessly , the front panel is in near perfect condition probably the best ive seen , really really nice , perfect ledgending and no paint wear round the knobs there are 2 small plastic chips at two side corners this is very common on tb303 and tr606
The rear panel has some paint wear around the battery door which i thought might be caused by a battery leak
I opened the unit when I got it and confirmed that there is no corrosion or crystals inside the machine the paper insert is in good condition and if there had have been battery leak it would have dissolved See photos nice and clean inside 
There are two potentiometer caps missing unfortunately , these come up on eBay occasionally and I have heard that a Japanese company have reproduced them , of course you can just use any knob that fits a standard shaft I have supplied two knobs , they look ok I’d say if you sprayed them silver they blend in better they do the job anyway ” Link

Hi! Up for grabs is my TR 808 Analog Drum Machine. This unit is in awesome condition! There are two stickers missing from pots, which I have included in the photos. The only other thing that is wrong with the unit is the start/stop button needs a harder push to get going. That means the internal contact needs replacing, which should be an easy fix. To make up for this, I have included a foot pedal which can be plugged into the start/stop jack in the back to be used for this. “Here it is, the mighty Roland CR78. The unit is perfectly functional and in very very good shape. There is a slight scratch by the accent knob that is only visible in certain lights at certain angles. The case was originally done in black tolex that was totally wasted when I got it, so I had it professionally veneered with real wood, stained and sealed. The volume and balance sliders have Juno 6/60 caps instead if the usual white pips. I did this to make it easier to control and have since lost the two white pips.” Link

This is a great analog drum machine, and if you’re looking at this you probably already know that.
I have had it modified by Analog Solutions to include MIDI and separate audio outs for each of the drum sounds. These mods are perfect, and the original sound is in no way compromised. You can still use the built in sequencer by de-selecting MIDI control with the switch.
I am aware of no problems with this 606, and have been using it daily for a couple of years now. It comes with its original carry case (in perfect condition), original packing box (in battered condition, but it still works), and an A/C adapater to power it.” Link

“I am including a MIDI to USB Adapter, Power Cord (2 prong), and Original Manual.
To the best of my knowledge, this is a completely original instrument. All Faders and buttons function perfectly. The Bender works correctly on both x and y axis. There is no dust noise in any control. Visually, this is a 9/10. No scratches, Dings, tape goo – nothing. The sides are original, as are all of the LED’s.
As for the sound: I have run test procedures on Noise, Wave Generators, and Filters from the Mono out jack. The only place I have reason to question is Voice 5′s Wave Generator (voice 5 and 6 share the chip). It works on the lower half of the keyboard, but not the top.
I have tested the midi controls and found them to be completely stable. The Midi out registers as velocity 127 – this is not a touch sensitive board by design.
