“Nice analog modeling keyboard in fully operational and otherwise nice condition. I purchased it around 5 years ago and am the second owner. It has one small flaw (pictured in last photo): The second lowest ‘D’ key has what looks like a crack, however it has remained solid throughout the entire time I’ve owned the synth, even after having been pressed and played frequently. Roland JP8000 Analogue Modelling Keyboard Synthesiser.

Superb analogue modelling synthesiser from the mid 90’s. Used by many artists and renowned for its classic warm pads and trance sounds.

Owned by me for the last 10 years with minimal home studio use only.

Panel, keyboard, controls and display are in excellent condition, cosmetically very good with just a couple of light marks on the rear.

One of the known issues with this synth is an uneven or low sound output (affects main and headphone outs) which is caused by the surface mount capacitors on the main logic board ageing.

This synth has recently had all the audio and supply decoupling capacitors replaced on the logic board along with a replacement memory back up battery and undergone a full digital recalibration and full restore to factory default settings.

It passed all the post calibration tests perfectly (beware if you buy one where this has not be done as it will need doing at some stage!).

Supplied with DVD containing owners manual, factory patch and performance listings, and full service notes.

An incredibly clean example of this 90’s classic synth.

The JP 8000 is the synth that created the sound of the 90’s with Rolands super-saw wave.

Complete with soft cover and cable this much loved machine shows almost no signs of wear.

Programming options are almost endless as this is a true ‘knobs and sliders’ machine allowing you to twiddle in real time to achieve the sounds you want.

With multiple oscillators it is also phat enough to run bass lines galore.

If you are looking for the ability to truly create a sound, this is the machine to do it.

I don’t have a flight case for it so it will need collecting but it is relatively light so it’s not a problem to move about.

“I decided to sell my JP-8000 as I don’t use it too often nowadays. Considering its age it is in fairly good shape and in good working order. I ran the full test firmware and everything works perfectly. As you see it on the pictures there are a couple of scratches around the modwheel area but otherwise the front panel looks good.
