I have tested it and all seems well and it sounds good. It powers on fine, visually it looks great now as it has been given a basic service by Chris. The pots and faders are very quiet, only very slight noise on them would remain which could be resolved with a complete service. So overall a great example of the SH09 considering this is now a vintage synth!’ Link

It’s in perfect working shape. All voices work, all features work, and it’s 100% original. Cosmetically, there are little scratches in 3 or 4 places, but nothing to write home about. It’s in very good shape for its age. This is a famous synth for a lot of reasons, the sound, the presets, etc.

Included is the proprietary 2 prong power cable that always seems hard to find. VERY RARE VERY COLLECTABLE ROLAND TR-606 DRUMATIX DRUM MACHINE

FULLY WORKING

WITH POWER SUPPLY(not original)

in very good condition for its age, fully working, but has a small dent on the fascia above button number 7(see photo)this is only a cosmetic flaw and does not effect it functioning in any way, also missing the plastic battery cover from the bottom of the unit, this also does not effect anything and is not seen as it is on the under side of the machine, and should be easy to find a replacement although not needed as the batteries hold themselves in place.” Link

This unit does come with an AC Adapter and is fully working.

I’m sure if you’re reading this you know what this synth is all about so I wont go in to too much detail here…

No reserve so just have a bid.

If you are bidding outside of the UK Mainland please contact me before bedding to check that I will post to you.

The unit has a lose pitchbender nd the portamento knob is sat at an angle.

James Walker of Synth Repair services can fix this so I am selling the unit to you un-repaired and will expect it to go for less than i otherwise might so that you can get it repaired instead of me!

It would benefit from a good clean up. I have not used the unit in a few years but I will test it before it goes out (therefore assume that it is all working 100%, if I find anything wrong I will pull the auction basically, I just want to get everything listed tonight!)” Link

here’s the blurb:
It’s a monophonic synth meaning one note at a time but the good thing it has which i was impressed about at the time I bought it back in the early 80’s was it has aftertouch, meaning you push a bit harder with your finger and you get the extra vibration or what ever you set the sound envelopes at, all the aftertouch controles are on the left side, underneath you have all the keys like trumpet french horn and hapsichord, but all these can change with the envelope controls.
it has some ware and tear on the pvc but it was used in theatre and a band in the 80’s.
comes with the original case but its missing the handle. I used the sounds years ago on my old fairlight which sadly I sold one of the first samplers of the time
anyway happy bidding and get creative )” Link

It isn’t making any sounds but does power on it. It is not a looker and it seems the button section for the patch storage has been replaced by a different system (don’t ask me, I didn’t have it done). It is pretty rusty, is missing some sliders and whats there is pretty haggard. It does work every so often but it’s for sure an as-is sale. It would make a great project or parts farm for your existing Juno 6, 60, or Jupiter 8 (They use a lot of the same chips).” Link

It’s been in a temperature controlled and dust free environment. It has a few scuffs here and there but nothing out of the ordinary strictly superficial. It has all the buttons, and knobs all of the keys are intact as you can see from the photos. It also has the original ac cord which I understand is a hard item to find. We are selling it as is no returns. We have tested it through a PA system and everything seem to be in working order please only serious bidders. ” Link

There are a few scratches and what appears to be orange paint. All knobs and sliders are present and all keys and funtions are working. However, I have not tested the CV/gate feature. Also, I can’t seem to get any sound out of the headphone jack but this may be because of the type of headphones I have. The other outputs have been tested and they are working. It was refurbished about seven months ago and is working very well but due to the nature of old electronic, it is sold as is. Also note that this is the 240v version.” Link

I bought this a few months back from a guy here in Australia who ripped me off. The item has a faulty cpu which needs replacing. I have had this diagnosed by an offical roland technician from MHB Music in Adelaide Australia. The part number it needs is 15179149 UPD7811G-033-36 NMOS CPU.

Apart from that it has had a mod removed professionally by the same technician. As you can see from one of the side pictures.

Everything else was working fine, all pots sounded clean and everything functioned A1. The faulty cpu sent noise through the data lines which was audible.

I am assured the item is repairable but unfortunately i cannot source the required part (cpu) here in australia and roland will only ship parts to the country the user is in.

Therefore i offer this ‘as is’ for worldwide sale as maybe you will have more luck than me.

Cosmetically as you can see in the pictures it is pretty good. Apart from where the mod was there are a few small chips on the grey plastic outside covers.” Link

but the SH-2 has two VCOs… is constructed out of aluminum… has an external audio input and has calibration ports on the front panel.

“You are bidding on a vintage Roland SH-101 & Waldorf Pulse Plus.

The items are being sold together so that the buyer may take advantage of the Waldorf Pulse Plus’s built in CV to Midi converter which allows you to control the SH-101 (via 2 cv & gate cables).

The SH-101: This vintage synth was previously owned by Detroit techno legend Kenny Larkin & was used in the creation of classics like ‘Pigs in space’. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. Functionally, the only issue is the main output jack is noisy. This is an easy replacement or clean job. However, it also works quite well as it is by simply plugging your output cord into the “phones” output. Otherwise it’s in great condition.

The Waldorf Pulse Plus: This is the famous Waldorf Pulse Plus synth that also happens to have a built in CV to midi converter. The item is in excellent condition cosmetically. The red knob seems to fluctuate up & down by 1 degree at times when left in a certain position. This doesn’t effect the performance however as it is simple enough to set it’s mode to be controlling on of the simpler functions that doesn’t use the full range of motion (such as the Active/Range mode).

Includes power supplies for both instruments (SH-101’s power supply is aftermarket) as well as a set of cables to connect the CV & Gate. SH-101 includes vintage box! ” Link

This synth is in good working order and has has served me well for the last 18 years. However, I’ve rarely used in recent months as I’m now using a Roland SH201 and I’m also trying to downsize my studio. It has lived in a smoke-free home since I bought it.

Imperfections to note on this item:

    *
Slight crackle on the volume control.
*
Some screws missing (like that when I bought it but doesn’t affect it).
*
Some of the faders require lubrication (I think all could benefit a clean!).
*
Pitch bender panel has a crack (see photos).
*
Slight dent on panel where the envelope control is.
*
Slight mark on the top ‘C’ key.

All other knobs, keys and faders are completely intact and fully working” Link
