“Hello, eBayers !!!! I have for selling the Roland D50 61-Key Linear Synthesizer. Please see all actual pictures!!! The keyboard is in heavily used condition and showing wear and tear. I have fully tested it and is in excellent working order. Please look at the photos provided for the best visual description of the item you will receive. The very first key has been cracked and was super glued. All knobs, keys, pitch, LCD, volume potentiometer and all functions works properly. “Roland D-50 Vintage Linear Synthesizer D50 Working But Needs Attention..

All keys work, however some of them have burns on them.

All buttons do work but some require a really hard push. Patch 6 button requires a REALLY hard push. It would be best to replace them all I think.

The pitch lever has snapped off and if you try to use it it engages the LFO and then won’t reset, it will reset if you change to another patch.

The joystick doesn’t work. To edit parameters or balance the parts, it does absolutely zero.

Output Jack a little crackly, sometimes you have to move your cable a little to get a signal.

Aftertouch does not work.

Cosmetically it’s ok – some off the print has worn off by the structures and envelope diagrams, there a few small scratches here and there. And one dent near the output jacks on the back.”

I turned it to my studio mixer and heard the sound. I think the keys works good. But keyboard has some limitations. A lot of knobs need press strongly, the volume potentiometer should change. “Travel back in time with this awesome old 1980s synthesizer. Made in Japan, it’s a Roland D-50. I used it for a couple years, but now four of the keys don’t work: E2, C3, G#3, and E4. So, it’s a repair project.

When I played it, I just used all the basic functions. I never could figure out how to get all the fancy stuff to work. So, I cannot swear on a stack of Bibles that all the bazillion sub-functions works. As far as I know, they do, but I don’t know for sure. And them’s the facts!

I absolutely love the weird trippy voices that it has. All the weird sounds on the second Toadstool Shadow album are from this very synth. The problem is that I do not know how to fix synths. So, it’s on to the next owner.

It comes with the original power cord. It has ordinary age and play wear, with various scratches and scrapes and stuff. But it still looks pretty good. It’s not cracked or anything like that. ”
