It lacks on button but it can be replaced easily, or even work without it and used some sort of pointed tip to select the parameter.

cs6000 “here’s a blast from the past for ya… this is a pre-midi roland sequencer, perfect for that old juno 6 or 60 before midi… i have no analogs left to try it with, no idea if it works or what to do with it, but it did light up when i plugged it in. from what i understand, it’s a rare oddity but it may be perfect for the die hard analog peeps out there.

it’s gonna def need a good cleaning at the least, so i’m listing it for parts or repair. it came with a bunch of other stuff from my brother when he was placed in a nursing home recently, and i need the space in my shop/studio more than i need stuff i’ll never use, so it’s gotta go!! as a vintage piece, no returns for any reasons.” Link

“For Sale Roland SH-1 analog mono synth, and a Roland CSQ-100 digital sequencer. The both of these are EXTREMELY RARE, and very unique. The SH-1 has been serviced, and all the electrolytic, and tantalum caps have been replaced with new ones. This has made a huge difference in the stability of the synth, and has also made it quieter with less background noise. The CSQ-100 has also been serviced, and had the caps replaced. These where built to work with each other, and I am selling these together as a pair. They both work great and are very easy and fun to program. The SH-1 is a very robust synth and sounds excellent, and the CSQ-100 can be synched up to other gear. The CSQ-100 comes with a 120V transformer for use in the US.” Link

“Great condition Roland CSQ 100 step sequencer. Sad to let it go, because it is such a handy songwriting tool.

USA Voltage and perfect working order. Extremely clean, almost no dust or grime anywhere. Various light scratches and a mark where a sticker used to be, but it can probably come off with some adhesive. Unit is in VERY good condition considering its age and rarity.” Link

” ***This unit runs on 120volts***
For sale is a Roland CSQ100 Computer Controlled Digital Sequencer. I bought it earlier this year from Japan. It was serviced before I bought it, everything functions flawlessly and it was converted to run safely on 120v. It does not require the use of a power adapter.
I have used this only in my studio, it has never gigged. I use it to sync my TR606 to SH09. I am forced to downsize and unfortunately must sell it. ” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“ich biete hier einen alten Roland-Sequencer an. Hatte ihn mit meinem SH-5 in Bertrieb.
Funktioniert mit allen Synths, die 1V/Oct + Voltage Gate haben. Erstaunlich simple Bedienung. Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“One owner Roland CSQ 100 Digital Sequencer records and plays back sequences (up to 100 notes) in two channels (memory banks) either separately or chained together. Sequences can play back repeatedly or stopped and started to play live instantly. Made for sale in USA, this 110 volt unit records in real time or by step entry, allowing editing of the notes and rhythms individually. Metronome, portamento and on-the-fly transposition abilities via keyboard control voltage make this a great unit for live performance.
The first channel (memory bank) was factory loaded with a single note (E), but the second channel was blank. Having no battery backup, it would lose any data entered (except the factory preload) when it was powered off. Rear panel has CV/Gate in/out, remote stop/start switch and step entry/data entry jacks.
I bought this new in the early 1980′s with a Roland SH-2 synth and used it onstage and in the studio for many years until the synth was stolen… alas, I no longer have an analog CV/Gate synth to test it with. It has been stored inside for the last few years and was last used about two years ago with an SH-101… it worked perfectly.
I am offering this unit in good faith as a fully functional unit, but if it fails to work for any reason I am giving a 7 day money-back guarantee with the buyer paying return shipping.” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“Roland CSQ100

Kein Rost. Funktioniert 100%.
Mit ausgedruckter Anleitung.
Mehr Infos gibt es im Netz.

Works fine with all the Roland SH-Models (except the SH3) and other Synths which are controlled by volt/octave.
Very easy to use and quick results.
Works definetly not with the KORG MS-Series and Yamaha CS-Series.
One of the switches is a bit worn out, but just a bit and some paint on the front edge is missing.
Clean machine. No rust. Works 100%
Comes with laser printed manual” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

“For sale here is the Roland CSQ-100 Computer Controlled Sequencer. This sequencer is in very good condition!! I have cleaned the inside, the buttons, and the CV/Gate in- and outputs. I also treated all contacts with Deoxit. All functions work perfect. It can be used with f.e. a Roland Promars (also for sale) or any other analogue synthesizer with CV/Gate.
For it’s age it looks very good. There are only a few minor scratches on the panel, but that’s normal for a machine of this age.
It works on 220 V. A printed manual will be included. ” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.

Up until recently I was using this nice little sequencer with my Roland SH-09 analog synth and it’s a great for jamming basslines, escaping computer based sequencing and for experimenting. It also makes a great envelope generator by writing in some changing control voltages and triggering it in ‘one shot ‘ mode and adding a little portamento.” Auction ended. “You are looking at Roland CSQ-100 Sequencer. It is a computer controlled digital sequencer used for studio work or on stage. I have no way to test it so I don’t know if is fully functional so it is SOLD AS IS. It powers up, the metronome sounds only on low level & increases or decreases with the tempo knob. On the memory switch, the channel one LED lights up but not on channel two. The push buttons seem a bit yellowed, but the unit has no major scratches or dings and looks in great shape for its age.

REMEMBER – THIS UNIT IS BEING SOLD AS IS ” Auction ended. Click here to browse on eBay.
