Aus Studioauflösung verkaufe ich ein PPG-System. Es ist das klassische System bestehend aus PPG Wave 2.3 Synthesizer (ein aufgerüsteter 2.2, komplett bei PPG upgedated mit MIDI und beleuchtetem Display) und Waveterm B.

Beide Geräte funktionieren sehr gut, der Waveterm besitzt eine fast neue Röhre, leuchtet hell und klar. Die Laufwerke sind in Ordnung.

Der Synthesizer ist mit MIDI-Interface nachgerüstet. Wofür die beiden ebenfalls später nachgerüsteten Taster links unten am Controlpanel sind, weiss ich nicht. Das Instrument ist aus einer Erbschaft und hat deutliche Gebrauchsspuren. Es funktioniert meines Erachtens aber einwandfrei. Mitgeliefert werden ein Handbuch, 2 Kassetten mit den Originalsounds und ein Tastatur-Reparatursatz, um die etwas “wellige” Tastatur wieder zu begradigen. Der Keyboardständer ist nicht Bestandteil der Auktion.” Link

“Vintage and rare PPG WAVE 2.3 Analog/Digital Wave Synthesizer
in really nice working and cosmetic condition!!

I bought this one 5 years ago from guy in Germany use to work at original PPG factory where they were produced.
He told me that this one was almost unused when I bought it and that is in really nice shape! And it was in real nice condition then and it is still in same nice condition today!
I did not used it much, only occasionally, few hours every six months or so at my non smoking/pet free house.
I am not a musician, but a big Tangerine Dream fun. It was a big pleasure to me to play this nice and unique instrument and enjoy all those beautiful sounds once in a while!
After all, probably the best synth I ever played! And I did own and play many other synths including Oberheim OBX, Yamaha CS-80, Jupiter-8, Prophet-10, Chroma…!
Simply, combination of analog/digital with WAVE synthesis technology is unbeatable in sound creating to me so far!
I wish they made PPGs with a little bit better keyboard and OBX quality analog filters, than this machine would be a total dream comes true forever!
Like I said, everything works fine on this synth. All the knobs are perfect. Volume control knob needs cleaning, sometimes makes noise when you turn it up or down.
All other knobs turns smooth!
One more thing. Light bulb on digital window control needs replacement, or just connection cleaning because sometimes this beautiful blue/green light flush and sometimes not.
You can see all the data there without that light except in total dark room.
All PPG keyboards need keys to be rebalanced after while. They still function OK but after years they become esthetically uneven-not in line! That is easy fixable I heard.
Everything else is just perfect! Cosmetically, very few scratches, all the knobs complete and in nice condition same as all digital parts. Inside, everything is clean too!
Keep in mind that this is original PPG WAVE 2.3 barely used, never staged, never serviced and kept good in it’s original condition!
Serial # is not visible.
PPG WAVE 2.2 V6 software sounds are currently loaded! You may load your own set of PPG WAVE 2.2/2.3 V8 software sounds from internet.

Zum Kaufen wird hier ein vollständiges PPG-System angeboten. Ein PPG Wave 2.3, eine EVU und das Waveterm sowie das PRK-Keyboard. Des weiteren gibt es einen Ständer dazu, welcher mal als Sonderanfertigung für das PPG-System hergestellt wurde.

Als Zubehör gibt es die Bedienungsanleitung (in deutscher Sprache), das Betriebssystem auf Diskette, sowie einige Sounds und neu verpackte Ersathdisketten.

Alle Teile befinden sich in einem hervorragenden Zustand und können als neuwertig bezeichnet werden. Siehe Detailfotos. Die Geräte sind noch in den Original-Kartons von PPG verpackt.

Einiger Wermutstropfen: Die Kabel müssen noch nachgefertigt werden, da sie leider nicht mehr dabei sind.

Ein besser erhaltenes System dürfte es kaum noch am Markt geben. Gerät und Software sind am 26.06.1987 ausgeliefert worden.

Leider kann ich das System nur per Abholung anbieten. Da die Geräte groß und schwer sind, ist mir leider kein sicheres Versandverfahren bekannt. Versender wie Ilox fordern z.B. dass die Pakete einen Sturz aus 80 cm Höhe aushalten müssen. So eine Kostbarkeit würde ich nicht mal aus 8 cm Höhe fallen lassen. Wer also eine Versandmethode oder einen Spediteur kennt, kann sich gerne mit mir absprechen, wenn er das Risiko in Kauf nimmt. Einziger Anbieter scheint Hermes zu sein, wo der Versand dann 100,- Euro pro Paket (es sind 4) plus ein normales Paket kosten würde.

Alle anderen Fragen beantworte ich auch gerne recht zeitnah.

Nachtrag: Für die einwandfreie Funktion der Geräte verbürgt sich der Eigentümer des Systems. Außerdem können die Geräte bei Abholung getestet werden und der Wave 2.3 ist von mir probehalber gestartet worden und läuft auch einwandfrei.

Der Inhaber schaut noch mal, ob sich der Kabelsatz auftreiben läst und das System wurde komplett direkt von PPG gekauft. Es ist also Erstbesitz. Für die Software-Version wird das Datum des Kaufvertrages an diesem Wochenende nach geliefert. Gerät und Software sind am 26.06.1987 ausgeliefert worden.” Link
