Included in the package is even rarer CV to MIDI interface OP-8M which was also serviced recently (all capacitors replaced, upgraded power supply, cleaned and calibrated…), so you can drive your MIDI synths with it. I had it for years and it has been years since I’ve used it as I sold my last Jupiter8 years ago.
However, When i did use it last it was working great.
As you see in my photos I add a custom made DCB cable with it to hook it up with your synth.
I’ve used it with both Jupiter-8 and Juno-60.
I’ve used my Mono Analog synth/Seq such as MC-202 to drive the Jupiter-8 thrugh the OP-8 and it added a different color to the mix
The Jupiter-8 in Unison mode was mixed with the MC-202 sound and I’ve also played on a different channel my old Roland SH-101 and drove the Jupiter-8 live.
There are unlimited possibilites especially today with the Midi to CV like Kenton where you can use each channel to play different melody to drive the Jupiter or Juno.
I never had the owner manual for it but than again I never needed it as it has a simple layout and simple to use.” Link
